I'm not sure if it was due to the Bank Holiday celebrations, but the entertainment was amazing. Really impressed with what was on offer during our stay. The only disappointing part of our trip was that we were unaware that we had to pre-order pizzas. Therefore when we were ready to eat at 6pm, we were told they were booked up until 10pm. We therefore queued for chips which were nice, but took 45 minutes. Thank you for a really enjoyable trip.

This is a great site for young families. We stayed over Jubilee weekend and it was chaos. Very busy and very noisy. Amazing location, great walking and lovely pub (Druid Inn). Don't think we would go back though.

Very busy for Jubilee weekend, but the site did a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and running smoothly. Great location.
Too busy and noisy, but good location

The campsite was overbooked for the jubilee weekend with people forced to camp at very close quarters. The campsite had arranged noisy concerts and fireworks for every evening, which didn't end until gone 10pm meaning the campsite was noisy until at least 11pm.The location and facilities were good, but if you're looking for a tranquil campsite, this isn't the place for you.
Amazing campsite for kids!

We stayed at Barn Farm over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend. There was so much for families to do provided by the site. We especially enjoyed the onsite catering vans! The family field is a lovely spot if you have young children, with the playground right in the field. The field is quite sloped and it's first come first served so we were camped on a bit of a hill, but it was ok. The facilities are good, but not the best. I think the extra traffic from the overflow fields during the event weekend made it difficult to keep them clean. But they weren't as busy I expected and plenty of toilet paper! We missed the electric hook up (no hook up for tents on this site), but we found sockets around in the bathroom blocks and games room to charge phones up! No problems keeping food in the fridge and ice packs in the freezer either. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for the kids, it was their favourite campsite that we've stayed on.

Whilst it was very busy over the Jubilee Celebrations, the staff worked extremely hard to maintain their high standards. We will definitely be back in the future.

Lovely campsite, very clean facilities with lovely soft Cushelle toilet paper 🤣. A singer and band played on Thursday & Friday evenings, along with a bar, pizza oven, burger van, pancake hut and inflatables. There were also fireworks on Friday night. It's a 5 minute stroll into Birchover to 2 pubs and a 1 hour walk to Robin Hood's Stride. Short drive into Matlock and Bakewell. Lovely site, would highly recommend!

Just love everything about this campsite. Also love the fact they never overbook and squeeze too many tents in. Makes it a lovely, relaxing and family friendly place to stay.

Great site, great facilities, great location and open spaces for playing in. The peacocks add a certain element of mystique to the site, just a shame they are so loud! I will be visiting again.
The best campsite in the UK!

Great site, good facilities for a family weekend and a lovely location. We explored the local Stanton Moor, cycled the Monsal Trail and explored Bakewell. To be honest, the kids would have happily stayed on the site for the playground and games area and the whole camping experience alone! Clean, family friendly, a lovely stay. The girls and I will certainly be back.
Always brilliant

Would always rate Barn Farm as one of our favourite campsites. Usually stay 3 nights at a time, any more and we would need electric hook up - not sure if tents can get this service. The facilities were very clean and well maintained.

Excellent facilities and lovely views. The only downside was that due to the sloped field and lack of allocated pitches, others campers camped very close to us. Great park, games equipment and very clean. Peacocks were fab to watch. Fab events barn with the football on. Lovely hot showers! Great walk to the Nine Ladies and two good local pubs. Would go back!

A short trip to gain experience using my new caravan. The website says that pitches are on uneven ground and I certainly made use of my levelling blocks and bricks to help level up the caravan front to back and side to side! This site was perfect in location for walks and shopping. The site is very clean and everyone helpful. I enjoyed my break and so did the dog.

Our first caravan holiday and apart from the useless caravan reversing from myself, we had a great time at Barn Farm, friendly staff and loads to do, very clean facilities and great for kids. We will definitely stay here again, if they will have us!

We stayed for three nights on this beautifully maintained site. Hard standings are on a first come basis so if you do move off for the day you take the risk you will have a different pitch when you return but personally it wasn't a problem for us. It's very much a family site with lots of school kids taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award. Facilities were very clean and plentiful. Village pub 'The Druid Inn' is well worth a visit and does excellent food.
