Trail View Campsite is a small, dog-friendly site in the Peak District National Park, ideally placed between Ashbourne and the spa town of Buxton. If you're in the mood for biking, walking or riding, the Tissington Trail runs right by this spot!
About Trail View Campsite
The views up here are outstanding and breathtaking all year round. You also couldn't be better placed for exploring the local towns with a 15 minute drive to Ashbourne and less than a 30 minute walk to the amenities in Newhaven and Biggin. Hartington is also roughly a five minute drive away. Nestled in the countryside, the site offers 25 grass pitches and three hardstanding pitches available for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and trailer tents. There are also seven pitches with electric hook up available.

Site rules and policies
All pitches must be vacated by midday or charges will be incurred.
Noise to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
Vehicles and contents are left at owners risk.
Fires and BBqs are allowed but only with express permission from management beforehand (terms and conditions apply).
No ball games around the caravans.
Please respect all our facilities at all times.
Please put rubbish in the bins provided.
Please clean up your dogs mess.
Departures are before 11am arrivals 12 noon onwards.
No visitors or commercial vehicles without prior permission by management (terms and conditions apply).
No single sex large groups without prior permission (terms and conditions).
No under 18s without adult supervision.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times - no exceptions.
Parents/ guardians are solely responsible for their children and their behaviour .

Things to do on site and in the Buxton area
The nearby Tissington Trail is ideal for walking and cycling, running over 13 beautiful and peaceful miles of countryside. Horses and cycles can be hired from the Tissington Trail entrance in Ashbourne, ready for your adventure.
Being central between Ashbourne, Buxton, Matlock and Leek, these historic towns are easy to wander and Carsington Resevoir is nearby offering fishing or sailing, kayaking and canoeing for water sport fans.
