Just a short half mile walk along the bridleway takes you to Goonhavern with its family friendly options. The coastal path is one mile north and a 35 minute countryside walk takes you to Perranporth with its miles of golden sandy beach.

About Reen Cross Holiday Park

Surrounded by Cornish countryside, Reen Cross is ideally located close to Perranporth Beach and a short drive to the many attractions found at Newquay, St Agnes, Crantock and Holywell. Truro is just a short drive or bus journey away and around a 45 minute drive away you'll find The Eden Project, Padstow, Marazion, St Michaels Mount, St Ives and the Lizard. Most pitches are a spacious 11m x 15m, ideal for motorhomes, tourers and canvas campers with electric. Although if you want more convenience the site have a small number of fully serviced pitches with grey waste, electric and a water supply on gravel pitches. All are welcome to the main field. If you are a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, however, you'll have your own small field with facilities separated by a 5ft mound and planting for members. There are five pitches here, fully serviced with grey waste, electric and water supply. There is a choice of grass or hardstanding. There is good access from the country lane and a wide entrance so you can pull off the road in a large vehicle. Great for families and couples, a small number of static caravans are also available for holiday bookings.

Facilities include a toilet block with shower facilities and a laundry room with washing machine, plus a freezer for ice blocks. There are also separate wet rooms for families or if you just need a spacious shower.

The site is just a short walk from Goonhavern village with children's play park, shop, restaurant and pub.

Check-in is from 1pm-9pm and you must vacate your pitch by 10am on day of departure.

BBQs are welcome provided they are kept raised off the ground and well-supervised - open campfires are not permitted.

Yes, dogs are welcome to join you provided they are kept on a lead whilst onsite and well-supervised. The nearest dog friendly beach is at Perranporth, located just 1.5 miles from the site.

The park is ideally situated to explore the glorious Cornish beaches within easy reach including St Agnes (5.6 miles), Holywell Bay at Newquay (5.8 miles), Crantock (5.9 miles) and Poly Joke (6.9 miles). A gentle amble north of the site to Rose and you'll have access to the South West Coast Path boasting spectacular scenery - guests often take the route to St Agnes village. Treat the kids with a visit to Llama Land and say hello to the animals at this 140 acre farm, set three miles from Truro with llama walks taking you through the tranquil countryside setting. Other attractions nearby: *Lappa Valley Steam Railway (5.6 miles) *Newquay Zoo (6.4 miles) *Watergate Bay (9.1 miles)


On site there is space to play or enjoy a BBQ, while children can enjoy letting off steam in the play area.

A short drive will take you to Newquay's Holywell Bay or Lappa Valley Steam Railway. Llama Land is close by and a good experience.

The coastal path can be picked up a mile north at Rose and nearby is Truro with a cathedral, Royal Cornwall Museum and boat tours. There really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Close by is Perranporth with its many ice cream parlours to try, and great places to eat from the casual to the refined. The Wateringhole is a great place to watch the sun go down with a drink in hand, right on the beach.

The beach is fantastic and the sea is great for keen surfers too. Within a couple of miles is Healeys Cider farm, horse riding, Perranporth Golf Club, and a choice of beautiful beaches such as Crantock, Polly Joke, Holywell and St Agnes.

The South West Coastal Path is a short stroll north of the site at Rose. Often guests take a walk to St Agnes or, if you want to save your legs, there are buses at Goonhavern that head into Truro.

There are many cycle trails with local bike hire and you're just a short drive to The Camel Trail where you can also hire bikes.

Those looking for fun time in the water can try surfing, jet skiing, paddleboarding, canoeing and boat trips. For the adventurous, coasteering is a big hit.
