The peace and quiet of the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside provides the perfect setting for a relaxed and stress-free holiday at Hillfort Tipis and Camping. The area has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing too, from castles to beaches and art galleries. There's bird watching, nature and ocean views in abundance, as well as the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
About Hillfort Camping and Yurts
The camping experiences at Hillfort are unique. The site's unspoiled land is situated in a beautiful part of Pembrokeshire and includes a small mountain with the remains of an Iron Age hillfort. Head to the top for panoramic views of Strumble Head and the Irish Sea - ideal for watching the sunset over the sea. The quiet and secluded pitches are completely peaceful, with absolutely no traffic noise. It's all wild flowers, bird watching and cosy nights around your own campfire here! On site there are 14 spacious camping pitches and a Seaview Yurt, all spread out over nearly 30 acres of national park.

The site wants your stay at Hillfort to be an enjoyable experience, and the site will endeavour to ensure it is. If this is going to be your first experience of camping and are unsure of anything, then feel free to ask before you book.
During your stay, either the Site Manager or myself can always be found around the site to assist with any questions you may have with your stay, speak to the site - they are happy to help.

A few Basic Do's and Don'ts
The site lets a pitch to you with the expectation that you will follow the usual customs of good camping and caravanning. The site reserves the right to ask you to leave at any point of your stay if the behaviour of any member of your party is unacceptable to us and no refund of monies will be paid.
Whilst the site will do everything possible to ensure you have an enjoyable camping experience, the site has no control whatsoever over the weather. Like other parts of the country, severe and adverse weather conditions can disrupt your stay, it has been known but very rare for tent structures to become unstable, the site will of course do everything in their power to rectify these occurrences whether or not it is your own tent or ours. However unfortunately these rare occurrences cannot be foreseen by yourself or us. Should you curtail your stay early due to the site weather conditions, no refund of monies will be paid. By booking with us you agree to our terms and conditions
You must ensure children in your party are properly always supervised, in all areas of the site,
If you bring a dog, this always remains your responsibility, must be on a lead and not left unattended. Dogs are not allowed in the site's tents. You must clean up after your dog. You should obtain the information for dog owners from reception on your arrival.
Cancellation
Postponement and cancelation due to government restrictions
If for any reason the site has to close the caravan and camping park due to Covid restrictions or any lockdowns, at first instance the site is move your holiday to another date and in the second instance, the site is issue a refund.
Cancellation arrangement - tents, campervans and yurts
The site understands that sometimes you may want to cancel or amend your booking.
Cancellation 0-7 nights before arrival - no refund
Cancellation 8-12 nights before arrival - partial refund - 70% of your total holiday, or the booking may be rearranged to another date subject to availability.
Cancellation 13+ nights before arrival - the site will refund your total holiday less than 10% (admin fee)
The Greener Camping Club membership fee is not refundable.
There are no refunds due to the bad weather conditions. The site is happy to offer credit for other dates during the same season or next year.
If you cancel your holiday less than 12 days before your arrival date and the site is able to issue a credit for other dates. The Greener Camping Club membership fee is not refundable. In the event that the site is unable to re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
Bookings are not transferable to another family without our prior agreement in writing. If you are concerned about the prospect of cancellation, please take out holiday insurance.

Things to do on site and in the Goodwick area
There aren't any onsite activities, but the site does enjoy a superb quiet location within the park, which is the perfect base for walking, hiking and climbing around the hills.
With the coast close by, sandy beaches of Whitesands and Newgale are just a short drive away. Local activities include sea kayaking, coasteering and surfing or you might just want to soak up the rays in summer.
