Camping at Beca is a dog friendly base in beautiful West Wales, looking out over the Preseli Hills. Conveniently set between Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, it's an excellent choice for families - with campfires to toast marshmallows around, a play area and Oakwood Theme park just a 20 minute drive. Stroll the coastal path and treat yourself to the café and fish and chip takeaway close by.
About Camping at Beca Certificated Site
Based on a working dairy and sheep farm, Beca is a small site with both grassed tent pitches and touring pitches, set within a level field with lovely mountain views. This tranquil location is a hit with walkers and cyclists, with chances to explore the pretty country surroundings, plus rides along National Cycle Route 47 (from Fishguard to Swansea) which is less than 10 minutes away. After a day full of activity, you can settle down around the campfire. Around a half hour away is the Golden Road footpath, thought to be the source of the famous stones at Stonehenge. You'll receive a warm welcome from your hosts, a Welsh-speaking family, and will be allowed lots of space between pitches - so you won't feel overcrowded. The site is open to members of the Camping and Caravanning Club only, but guests can join on arrival.
