Things to do on site and in the Llandysul area
The Teifi Valley in beautiful west Wales, which surrounds the site, is an excellent salmon- and trout-fishing area, and there are plenty of watersports activities in the picturesque village of Llandysul just three miles away.
The area is great for walking and cycling (there is a Sustrans route a few metres away), and it's just a short drive to the countless beaches on the Cardigan Bay coastline and the coastal path, from where you may see Cardigan Bay's famous dolphins.
The wildlife and sights here are spectacular: wake up to the calls and whistles of red kites and buzzards, see the night time visits by badgers, foxes and owls, and look out upon the far-reaching hills in the distance. There is no light pollution in this area, so on clear nights the Milky Way can be a stunning sight.
