Blacklands Farm Caravan and Camping is located in the scenic Sussex countryside just 20 minutes from Brighton via the South Downs National Park. Children can let off steam in the fun onsite play park, leaving the grown-ups to kick back. Pitches welcome both tents and tourers with the option of electric too. Our first time here and we LOVED it! So family-friendly and great facilities. We are coming back in 2 weekends time and will definitely be regulars from now on! Staff are so helpful, and always around and the kids loved the park/shop and all the exploring they could wish for!

Campsite well run, great facilities in a modest, wholesome style. Staff were very friendly, however, the campsites booking site was although very thorough, it was difficult to get responses or answers to queries or individual needs.

Lovely place with amazing atmosphere. Lots of space even in the busy period. My family and I really enjoyed spending a long weekend at this campsite. Highly recommend for families. Huge space to play, walk or fish. Rules are a bit strict, especially on campfires (with open fires only after 6pm) as I love cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner on open fire, but rules are rules. 😅 Bathrooms and toilets can be cleaned better and more often, especially in the busy periods. Overall, was a fantastic camp and we came home with lots of memories. 🙂 Thank you.

Lots of staff always around on hand. Good campsite for families with a large play area for kids and places for kids to ride around on bikes, but also had quieter camping fields. Local pub only 20mins walk away. Toilet blocks were clean but on our last day our block had no toilet paper in the men's. There is a small shop on site and it was local to us, only 30 mins drive from home. There were male and female shower blocks (should be made unisex) as they can get very busy at peak times and they have lockable cubicles. Washing up facilities only have cold water, not so good fit you do a fry up! May be more electric pitches needed.

Great little find! Safe, clean, friendly staff, and all the facilities you could need. More on the expensive side than some others, but I was happy to pay it as it had everything I was looking for.
Kid friendly, great little site

Very good for space and ease of setting up. Cycle and walking routes were nice and near enough to beaches in a car - 20/30 mins. Lancing beach very good for kite surfing, swimming and good cycle route. Much more accessible than Brighton beach. Practicalities: It would be helpful to have an ice pack swap scheme (£1 per pack) to ensure ice box stays cold daily. Other sites do this and it is very useful. More pastries or hot breakfasts would be good. We were in the playground field. Whilst useful to have the playground, the extent of large family groups was unhelpful. There were two groups who were angry towards each other and some of their children were aggressive to the younger children. The two families had a shouting episode which we all saw on Sunday morning. I wished we were on the other field away from these big groups. They were too big.
Good site!

Ideal base for my week's cycling in the South Downs. Good facilities and excellent staff. Some areas a bit tired in places, but nothing to stop my enjoyment of the site by any means. Will definitely return.

We chose this site as it was close to Crawley, where my daughter was visiting an old friend. It was mid afternoon when we arrived. Staff were at reception waiting, and we were showed to a great spot. I had requested a pitch as close to the toilets as possible due to health issues, and they obliged happily. There is a big play area in the centre of the camping field, it's perfect for the kids. We didn't have electric hook up, but they are available. The whole site was beautiful and the facilities were clean and plenty of them. Would happily go back and stay longer next time, such a peaceful place.

Lovely tree lined park. Enjoyed walking round the whole site to see the fishing lakes. Great welcome, service and shop. Clean toilets and hot showers. Stayed here prior to driving on to Brighton.

Everything ok, a nice place to stay. Showers were hard work if you need to shave and the floor was too wet to dress on, it needs boards on the floor to keep your feet and socks dry.

Brilliant site for the dogs, we camped early in the season so it wasn’t too busy, the bluebell wood is lovely and secure. Local pub within walking distance, dog friendly. Great welcome when we arrived.

We had a great time here - everyone was very very helpful and really pleasant. My 10 year old went fishing and we were helped greatly by everyone there - considering the recent weather, everything was in great shape, clean and working. We will be back at some point.
Great hardstanding pitch in wet weather out of season!

We stayed for one night in early March. We used the hardstanding pitch, which was great. It was nice and quiet as there were no tents there, just campervans. Steve the warden was really helpful and described the shortcut to the pub across the fields. The local pub The Wheatsheaf is fantastic with a lovely cosy fire and Brazilian-inspired food. Toilet block was sparkling clean! We will return.
