Very friendly owners on hand to help and offer suggestions for local places to visit. 3 camping fields and a huge wildflower meadow to wander through. Fire pits to hire and limited light pollution - a very relaxing site! I would definitely recommend.
Loved every minute!

I cannot recommend Fontmills enough, we had such a lovely weekend and I want to book to come again! Steve and Nicola are delightful hosts, and want to make your stay as great as possible. Our highlights were giving Wotsit the goat a good scratch and enjoying the stunning wildflower meadow just next to the campsite, and we had plenty of space to play lawn games. The facilities are great, always very clean and had everything you need and more. Can't wait to come back!

Used the campsite as a base for the air show at Eastbourne. The shepherd’s hut was cute, very well decorated and just a lovely place to stay. It brought back many happy memories of camping when I was younger. The facilities were clean and the service excellent, lovely touch waking up to the coffee van in the morning. If I visit the area again, I will definitely check this out again.

A very nice site, family friendly, not overcrowded at all. Quiet at night, nice dark skies perfect for the meteor shower! Good clean basic facilities, owners working hard to keep it all spotless. We walked to a pub through woodland (directions provided). Will defo visit again.

Very nice camping with beautiful views of the countryside. Clean and handy facilities, having the car parked outside of the camping area after setting up the tent is a nice plus.

I wanted to introduce the kids (9yrs, 6yrs & 4yrs) to the joys of camping. I wanted a lovely location, no clubhouse and family friendly venue. I got exactly that and more. Welcoming staff, a nice spacious pitch with a big green shared field for kids to play and meet new friends. The site offer free fire pits and for small charge kindling and firewood. I purchased some sausages from the shop which were "massive" and good pricing. The kids played on the field whilst I BBQ'd and then we sat around toasting marshmallows, laughing and playing. There were other campers but with enough space between, we couldn't disturb one another. Had a peaceful night and breakfast with beautiful views over Sussex. Will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed four lovely days at Fontmills. We arrived in the middle of a downpour, so it was nice to receive a warm, friendly welcome from the site owners. We booked one glamping and one camping and were pleased to be able to pitch next to the glamping tent. All the pitches looked a good size. There were plenty of picnic benches on the site, which was a nice touch, and we found the facilities to be clean and well maintained. The proximity to the cuckoo trail was a bonus - great for an easy to follow walk with the kids and we found plenty to do within a 30 minute drive. Youngest was pleased with the on site animals, which are near the farm entrance. The field does have a slight incline but nothing that caused a problem. The on-site shop seemed to have a handy selection, although we didn't need to use it ourselves. Would definitely visit again - family members were also happy with their glamping tent and cooking facilities.

Just back from a lovely time at Fontmills - we stayed in the beautiful glamping tent with friends on a regular pitch. This is a friendly, family campsite, we were there in the week - other guests were friendly but mindful and the campsite was quiet by around 9pm - really great for families with children. It's moments from the cuckoo trail - we went for some lovely walks and visited Eastbourne and Seven Sisters, which were an easy drive. Good glamping provision with everything we needed on-site - fire pit, logs, kindling in addition to cooking utensils and pretty lighting.

We stayed just one night, but it was a lovely quiet evening with great friendly service on arrival. Free firepit use was great and the logs were cheap for a big bag. They have a separate car park, but if your tent and car fit in the spacious pitch they allow the car to stay by the tent, which is always easier. Facilities were clean and fine for our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spacious, family-friendly site. Large field (no shade). No dogs and no cars on the field. Little shop with milk and lollies and marshmallows. Wonderful staff. Next to cuckoo trail which is great for easy bike rides (tarmac, flat) about 17 miles to the coast, but shorter rides to nearby towns with cafés possible. Basic facilities, but very clean and hot water.
