Pop-Up Woods and Meadows Campsite is set across 20 acres of meadows and woodlands, 15 minutes from Hastings. Offering tent and campervan pitches, hammocks, or for glampers there are also bell tents. The site is off-grid with a focus on providing a back to nature experience surrounded by wildlife. Pitches are spacious and perfect for individuals, families or groups wanting seclusion. Camber Sands and Rye are just a 25 minute drive from the site.

About Pop-Up Woods and Meadows Campsite
Set across 20 acres of land in the High Weald AONB, this site offers a dog friendly, relaxed and off grid camping experience. Be greeted with a glass of Pimms as you find your pitch, set up camp and just simply relax! Children are free to run around, play and make friends as adults cook up something tasty on the fire pit. The site has three meadows where you can self pitch your tent or campervan or choose to hire one of the bell tents. There are also woodland pitches on offer too, here you can also hire a hammock or bring your own for a more 'wild' experience! Pitches are spacious and kept private to avoid feeling on top of one another! Surrounded by nature and wildlife, guests can truly relax and soak in the tranquillity of being out in nature, whether that be under one of the 'chill out' structures or being brave and having a dip in the stream! Guests are also able to pre book homemade pizzas to enjoy at their pitch. Only a 15 minute drive to central Hastings and Pett Level beach, for days spent splashing in the sea and building sandcastles. Drive a bit further afield to Battle, perfect for history lovers with the site of the Battle of Hastings and the Abbey. Another must is hiring a paddle board from the site and going down River Rother with the family. Please note that the camping areas are car free. Wheelbarrows are provided in the car park to help you transport your gear, or you can book a bell hop service for a warden to pick you up on one of the quads to take you to your pitch. Campfires are allowed with fire pits available for every pitch, plus buckets to extinguish them. Guests are able to add logs onto their booking, or purchase whilst onsite. The site has permission for campers to forage for small fallen timber for kindling only. Dogs are welcome onsite as long as they are kept under control. The site is more than happy to welcome groups and create set areas with pitches or bell tents together.
Open on weekends only from May until 22nd July, and then seven days a week through July and August.

Things to do on site and in the Hastings area
Set on 20 acres of pretty woodland and meadows there is a dipping pool in the stream that runs through the site and plenty of wildlife around site including badgers, owls and deer so be sure to keep an eye out and see what you can spot! Designed to be an escape from city life and the digital world, some guests choose to simply do nothing but relax.
There is plenty of space at the site for free-roaming, for children there are rope swings, den making kits and cargo nets to play with. There is even a geocache woodland trail to keep the little ones busy, grown ups are of course also welcome to join in! For some evening fun, take part in the glow in the dark habitat hunt, or even the Saturday morning forestry school.
Hastings (15 minutes) has a pier, aquarium and various shops and eateries. Perfect for a day out, with cute streets and the beach on your doorstep. Pett Level and Camber Sands are both within a 30 minute drive for days of seaside fun, with stretches of sandy shores for sandcastle making!
Battle (20 minutes) is a must for history lovers with the Abbey and the famous site of the Battle of Hastings! Explore the town with a range of shops and restaurants before you head to the battle ruins.
