Dreamy Hollow Woodland Campsite and listed WW1 Trenches is steeped in history and will provide guests with a truly authentic camping experience amongst woodlands. There are a mix of non electric grass and woodland pitches taking between four and 30 people, as well as an authentic World War One bunker. Relax onsite and listen to the birdsong or give archery a go. Brancaster Beach and the Norfolk Coast Path are also just 15 minutes away!

About Dreamy Hollow Woodland Campsite and WW1 Trenches
Sit back and relax amongst nature at this family and dog friendly campsite immersed in nature, surrounded by woodlands. Just 15 minutes from sandy beaches, this is an ideal spot to enjoy both the countryside and coastline. All of the pitches will provide you with an authentic camping experience, set on either grass or in the woodlands, each sleeping between two and eight people. The eastern half of the site is for family camping and the western half of the site is adult only. There are then another four group pitches, each one sleeping either 10 or 15. None of the pitches come with electric, and all have their own fire baskets, perfect for evenings of toasting marshmallows. The north end of the Hollow has a wood-fired pizza oven too! Alternatively, you can opt for Sgt Taylor's Bunker which sleeps up to four adults in bunks for a unique war-time experience. Basic mattresses are provided, but guests will need to bring their own linen. Also inside you'll have your own table and chairs, small wood-burning fire and a flat top with a copper kettle. Dogs are welcome onsite too, just please keep them on the lead and always clean up after them. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in raised fire pits. All cars (except camper van pitches) will need to park up in the car park, with barrows and a buggy to help you get your stuff to your pitch.

An extra large space in the woodlands for groups in the east end of the glade. Complete with a private fire pit. Not accessible to vehicles and does not come with electric.
XL Grass Tent Pitch (Adult Only)

An extra large 15m x 16m, adult only, non electric grass pitch named Stargazer. Suitable for tents only. Not accessible to vehicles. Each pitch has its own fire pit.
Woodland Campervan Pitch (Family Friendly)

A firm, non electric grass pitch named Camper Glade set in the woodlands with a fire pit. Suitable for campervans only.
Grass Campervan Pitch (Family Friendly)

Other accommodation
Sgt Taylor's Bunker
A replica World War One bunker with two sets of bunks, a table and chairs, small wood burner and a flat top with a copper kettle. Basic mattresses are provided but please bring bedding. Adults only. Not accessible to vehicles.
Site tariff
Things to do on site and in the King's Lynn area
Try your hand at archery at the site's onsite archery range, take part in a WWI tour around the site, or venture off site to Sandringham, a children's playground and climbing frame centre just a 20 minute drive away. For hikers, walk the Norfolk Coastal Path, just 30 minutes from site with lovely views.
Archery and WWI tours will need to be booked directly with the providers, the site will advise you on how to do this.
Holkham Hall is a 20 minute drive away and is a stunning stately home with lovely gardens or pop along to Pensthorpe also 15 minutes away and enjoy the large lake and woodlands. Titchwell Nature Reserve is a 15 minute drive away and is perfect for nature lovers
There are lovely beaches nearby including Brancaster just 15 minutes away and Holkham and Old Hunstanton, 20 minutes away.
For a day of family fun, Sea Life Hunstanton is just a 20 minute drive away. Kids can get involved with the Rainforest Ranger Basecamp, you can meet the exotic underwater creatures and even see the lovely seals being reared back to health in the seal hospital.
