Couldn’t fault anything

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Piinecones. Campsite toilet/shower facilities were great, friendly helpful staff and free ice was a bonus too. Thank you.

Great site with excellent facilities

We arrived late and there is a self service check in which contained details of the barrier code and pictures pitch. I found this to be great as we knew we would be late arriving. The site has great take away food facilities if you don't fancy cooking. The pitch was level, had electric and water and also a picnic bench. The pitch itself are a good size so that you don't feel on top of each other. Washrooms were very clean and had the toilet, sink and shower all together. It didn't matter what time of day you visited them, they were kept clean. Location was next to a busy road, but you couldn't hear the traffic and excellent to just walk out of the site onto footpaths in the countryside. I would definitely recommend this site in a great location close to the beach.

Nice campsite

Shower blocks are very good. Well-stocked shop. Nibbles has good food. Our pitch was a good pitch, my only criticism is that everyone allows their dog to fowl on the corner pitch opposite (where the logs are). Not nice when you are cooking or eating. Apart from that, all good. Would go again.

Great stay

We've just stayed here and would love to go back again! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were great and the location was perfect. There are loads of places to go within a short drive. The site was very busy when we arrived and there were lots of families and despite this, it was still quiet and clean. The only things that could be improved in my opinion would be to have some shelving in the bathrooms to put toiletries on and it would be useful to have the laundry room open for longer, so we could access the freezer for our ice blocks. Apart from that, everything was fab!

Great site

We had a great stay, perfect location for country walking to the beach and through the forest to Sandringham. Staff were very friendly and we liked the modern shower rooms with toilets in each room. Being a bank holiday, the site was full and the shower rooms were cleaned twice a day which was good. The onsite takeaway is fantastic if you don't want to cook. A full English breakfast is very reasonably priced. We will certainly visit again.

Great site

Lovely site with great facilities, will definitely return.

Lovely, relaxed stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very nice lady booked us in on arrival and gave us simple instructions on how to get to our pitch and terms and conditions. From the moment we pitched up, we were relaxed and ready to enjoy our stay. Pitches were very spacious with hardstanding, grassed areas and picnic bench. Buddy our retriever enjoyed his long walks and we enjoyed relaxing in the sun. Facilities were very clean and always free whenever we went for a shower.

Oak Pod

Great overall. I would say to staff cleaning to check who is staying as our fridge was emptied and our stuff was chucked away.

Lovely little site

Lovely little site with plenty to see and do. Camped with a dog who loves the walks straight from the site. Short car ride to the nearby beaches of Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton. Sandringham is a short walk straight from the site.

A stay with many extras

Booked for 3 nights for our 1st trip in our new campervan and it was great The campsite is in a great location making a good base to explore North Norfolk. Pinecones has everything you need and more, the toilet blocks are very clean and private and the warm water dog shower station was great for washing the dogs down after a day's adventure, including the bridal way next to the campsite. We had a pitch with EHU and picnic hut, and was very happy with the layout and amenities close by. Great stay all in all, so much being that we booked an extra night and we will be booking again.

Great site, would certainly return

Overall, a great campsite. Clean and tidy site and facilities. Private loos/showers nice. Can have a raised BBQ, and great play park for children. Close to the road so could hear traffic at night, but that is not uncommon and didn't spoil the break.

Fantastic family stay

Myself and my husband stayed with our two daughters (aged 8 and 4) in a pod. We were really impressed with the campsite. The first thing that struck me was how clean it was - which is important when using communal showers and toilets! They were warm, clean and a pleasure to use. The pods had everything we needed - a kettle, toaster and mini oven with hob. It was a great base. The kids especially loved the park. We also had a lovely walk to Sandringham where there was a huge playground. All in all a lovely stay and made our Easter a memorable one. We will be back!

Lovely campsite with very friendly staff

We have had a lovely weekend at Pincones. The only letdown was the weather and some traffic noise. A lovely site with good, clean facilities.

2 night stay in March

Great little campsite, easy to find, very tidy and all the staff I encountered were very helpful and pleasant. Showers and toilets were spotlessly clean and hot water was very hot. Would 100% recommend this place, great little base to explore the surrounding area.

Lovely welcoming site

The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They provided maps with very helpful directions for various walks - we did Sandringham house and the beach walk, which was lovely but very long. The toilet/shower facilities were wonderful (nice and hot) and also are individual so you have complete privacy. A nice touch is the piped local radio station into the showers with light up shower head. We had a pitch with heated picnic hut, £2.50 gets you about 3 hours heat, very good value. The heated dog shower was also a nice touch, Norman our dog loved it. Just one minor issue was the road noise but after the 1st night, we hardly noticed it.

Excellent, well located site

Pinecones is one of the best sites we've stayed at! The toilet / showers are fabulous! They are spacious, warm and very clean, with the added bonus of music via the radio. Well kept grounds, loved the water features dotted around the site and the fairy lights. Well located for walking and trips to the coastline. We didn't venture to the pubs as just a bit too far for us to walk in the dark but we did have Chinese takeaway delivered one evening. Would definitely use again when visiting the area.. Thank you.

First weekend of March stopover

Good location for our weekend visit - quiet (early March) and easy to walk to town etc. Easy to get to main beaches. Great shower blocks and good size pitches. Would go back.

Fabulous

We loved it here. It only didn't get a 100% rating because of the proximity to the road which is out of their control, but they have done everything in their power to minimise the impact of this, with constructed high banks etc. It wasn't bad, barely worth a mention, to stop us from coming back, or stop us enjoying cooking in the heated hut, or enjoying the amazing walks from the site. The friendly office staff provided laminated comprehensive guides to 4 walks. I took the long walk to the nature reserve and saw a lot of wildlife on the way. I was thrilled to see and hear larks (no road noise here!). The shower facilities were modern, clean and warm and private. Loo, shower and basin all together, very nice. I am very particular about drinking water and was thrilled to learn that their water is from a spring. The dog shower provided even had hot water! This is up there as one of our favourite sites. We had our own tap and drain too.

Close to many local attractions

Bit of road noise. The tumble dryer didn't work well, so try and use the towel rails in the shower rooms. Everyone was really lovely on site, will be going back.

A lovely stay

Lovely site and good walks. Only downside is the proximity of the main road.

Relaxing and quiet

We had lovely 2 days at Pinecones Caravan and Camping site. The facilities were lovely and clean. The campsite itself is off the A149 so is very easy to find. Plenty of space between pitches. Found the staff very helpful. Would definitely go back. Thanks.
