Lovely campsite with clean well kept facilities. We really enjoyed our stay

Perfect stay

A very friendly campsite. There was a hiccup with a guest but was swiftly sorted. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the morning cuppa was very welcome. The site is well laid out but could do with more signage to show entry and exit into the carpark itself. The small village in Eastry is well stocked with everything you may need. The Chinese takeaway comes highly recommended but couldn't try the fish and chip shop, it was closed during my short stay. All in all, the campsite is well presented and very good value for money, I would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely, friendly, basic camping.

Excellent site

Probably the best site we have stayed on due to the excellent facilities, mainly the toilet and shower block which was kept clean all day. There were 4 toilets and 4 showers that were ample for the size of the site. There are no electrical hookups on the site, so this should be noted. We particularly liked the way they have let the grasses grow to about 2-3 feet in between the plots, which gave a lot of privacy. We stayed during the school holidays so there were quite a lot of children around, which although we are retired, we really liked as it was lovely to see they had the freedom to run around. Although we didn't really use the camp shop, it did have essentials available with a weekly pizza kitchen and various other events. All in all, a lovely relaxing site with good amenities.

Great facilities, but people don't adhere to quiet times

The campsite itself and the facilities are lovely, as were the staff. The main issue for us with a young child was that people took no notice of the quiet hours from 2230-0730 and there was children running around screaming up until 1am. There was also a party with everyone singing living on a prayer at gone 2am! So sleeping was impossible even with earplugs.

Great campsite tucked into the orchards

Great campsite tucked into the orchards. Well organised and maintained. Cars must be parked away from tent in the car park. Makes for a calm, peaceful experience. Of course some campers didn't think that rule applied to them and got away with it when challenged by site staff.

Smashing site

Lovely family site, beautifully laid out pitches. Super shop and bar and friendly staff. Only thing was the showers, a 4 second rush of cold water before having to hit the button again. Hopefully this will change! Definitely going back.

Apologies you experienced a few seconds of cold water – it may just have been because the showers hadn’t been used for a few hours and water had cooled in the pipe. Great family site

Lovely site. We stayed in the furnished bell tents with some friends, who have never camped before. The option to book furnished allowed them to experience it without having to purchase anything extra. A clean and well managed site. Lots to keep the kids entertained and room for them to fly kites and play ball games. Thank you Fallow Fields.

Brilliant site!

This was such a find, we'll definitely visit again and 100% recommend. The facilities were clean and regularly maintained, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the shop was well stocked and the on-site food was great!
