There are farm animals around, and pizzas available on Fridays and Saturdays. Good facilities, while still maintaining a feel of wilderness.

Lovely location, nice to have a few animals around. Facilities were decent and clean plus amusing birds (swifts) zooming in and out of the toilets were very cute. Only criticism is the water pressure wasn't great so if someone was showering, the sink in the toilets didn't work. No real presence from staff but wasn't needed, we had a mobile number to call for any problems. Small café wasn't overpriced, but not much food offered and drinks weren't cold. Friends had pizza delivered which was great. Nicely marked out pitches, with plenty of space between groups. Kids had space to play badminton, football, and have water fights.

We love Brook Farm campsite, it's close to where we live so it's really convenient for a couple of nights escape back to nature. The site is pretty, clean & well organised, but with a great chilled atmosphere (there's no endless lists of rules or slightly naggy emails like some campsites. Patrons can help themselves to firepits & logs- you're trusted with an honesty tin for payment etc. There are great extras (pizza oven, morning cafe) and the loos & showers are in a pleasant, well-ventilated block. We meet friends there so socialise on site, but if are visiting the areas it's close to the sea at Whitstable, Canterbury for historic tours etc. And lots of great walks & cycle paths... We've loved every visit to Brook Farm & will definitely be back again 😍😀 - Jenni (Red Class Camp 🙂)

Was a lovely campsite and lovely walk. But the showers didn't work that well, either freezing or boiling hot.
Site's response
Thank you for your review, following reports of the showers running hot and cold, I had an emergency plumber come out and resolve this issue with 3 new shower units, so this issue has been sorted and the facilities are now back to their good standards.

We arrived Saturday afternoon and as it was our first camping experience were pleasantly surprised. James had messaged us beforehand and it was nice to know we could reach out to him with any troubles. Nice well maintained camping area with easily identifiable pitches. Toilets and shower block were clean and well maintained and we were also offered fresh stone baked pizzas! Kids loved the animals on site, chickens, sheep, guinea pigs and cows and we took advantage of being so close to the woods and hiked one of the well maintained paths in blean woods. The site was peaceful and apart from the sounds of nature we had no problems with getting off to sleep. Well priced and felt very relaxed vibe, we will be back for a longer stay next time.

Very pleasant, peaceful stay. Was a lovely site, fairly level, proper toilets and showers, pizzas in the evening and coffee in the morning from the owners little hut cafe. Sweet animals living in two pens in the centre of the site. 12 minutes from Whitstable. No signal which is probably a good thing for a digital detox!

Excellent little site with everything you could need. Miles and miles of woodland walking on your doorstep and some lovely little pubs for refreshments. Ideally located between Canterbury and Whitstable. Will definitely be back!

Only here for one night but a lovely experience, surrounded by trees and birds and hay bales. Very quiet and nice walks in the woods next door. Did not know there would be pizzas or morning coffee available to buy, next time would like to try these.

This was my second stay at Brook Farm, having stayed last year with my grandchildren. We received a friendly welcome from James and were soon set up on an electric grass pitch. The site was very quiet mid week, so it was a restful relaxing visit. We used one of the sites fire pits for an evening around the camp fire. The facilities, toilets, showers and washing up area are adequate. We are planning to visit again later in the year.
Fantastic and totally provides what it says... refreshing and relaxing

This is such a brilliant find... searching for campsites in Kent and came across Brook Farm. We only stayed one night but came away feeling like had had a very chilled break. The site is beautiful and very well looked after... the views are stunning and the facilities are everything you could wish for on a camping trip but better. The hosts were so friendly and ready to help with any request. Having the cafe is such an added bonus.. homemade pizza delivered to your tent in the evening as you sit by your little fire is heavenly. We'll definitely be back for 2 nights next time. Thank you.

Great space for families and couples. Easy to find and access. Added bonus of farm animal entertainment and a small food/drink truck for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of showers and toilets, although the site wasn't full. Great location two pubs 5 mins down the road and Canterbury and Whitstable 15 mins away. Would stay again.

Great campsite, facilities could do with being a bit better but after speaking to James the owner, he said it's not been up and running too long and he is still making improvements. I would definitely recommend the site and would love to visit again.

Perfect location on a farm next to woodlands, within easy reach of Whitstable and Canterbury and some nice local pubs. Make sure you have phone to ring the site owner when you arrive as he stays in the farm next door when not working on site. He gave a friendly welcome and was contactable whenever needed. The site has a small holding with sheep, guinea pigs and chickens which was really wonderful. Plenty of space for pitches and nicely laid out site. The showers and toilets are typical farm outhouse type (bare concrete - remember your flip flops for shower!) which was fine, but I did think the toilets could have been cleaned more frequently. Also by the toilets there is only a cold water tap, which seemed odd as there was a hot water one by the washing up station. The cold water hand washing was the main downfall, as made hand washing in the cold night quite painful! Quite a hygiene overlook considering the site was launched during a pandemic. Other than the taps the site was really lovely and we had a great time.

Lovely, great family break. It's in a fantastic location, the boys loved spending time with the lambs and running free in the meadow and woods (great little swing found). James was a great host, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely setting, good facilities and beautiful surroundings. This is the second time we've stayed at Brook Farm, it's 5 minutes off a main dual carriageway so really convenient to get to but is also very rural. It's a great base for trips to Canterbury or Whitstable or if you want to explore Blean Woods it's right on the doorstep.

Needed somewhere to stay to break up our journey. James, the owner, was really helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough. Looks great place to explore Kent from.
