Absolutely recommend! The only draw back is kids kicking footballs around open fires and the BBQ, got hit a few times which could have caused a problem. But the site itself was fantastic, quite and beautiful! John was brilliant. Coming back soon, going to be bringing the whole family.

John was lovely, very friendly, great atmosphere, and great a vibe. Not too busy, despite the perfect weather. The views were incredible with the mountain in the background.

Wow just everything and more we could have hoped for. Ok so the sun shone the whole time however even if it hadn't it wouldn't have mattered. The welcome was so warm and hospitable, John is a fantastic host. The site is so well maintained and pretty much all you could wish for! We will return again and again, the location is a little peace of heaven 💜 Thank you, John - we will be back.

We were lucky and found ourselves in a beautiful place at the foot of the hills and were the only people there. We walked the hills from the campsite and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, there are only 6 portaloos, so when the site is busy this could be a problem.

We loved our stay. Stunning location, beautifully kept and clean site that lights up with fairy lights at night. My daughter loved the rope swing over the stream. Lots of picturesque walks in the area. John is a brilliant, friendly host and always on hand when needed. We cannot wait to return!

Wonderful location and peaceful spacious surroundings. Longtown has an outstanding village shop as well as pub and castle. Great walks from the site. But this is not for you if you like all mod cons as no showers or washing facilities, though lovely water from a spring.
Beautiful!

A lovely, well-kept camping field on its own farm. Absolutely spotless. In the middle of nowhere but lovely scenery all around. Lovely pitches and glamping tents, which all light up in the night. Very quiet when we stayed. Perfect for us and our dog. Only a few portaloos to use on-site, but they were very clean and clean water taps available. Very warm welcome and the friendly owner told us the best spot to park to have sun all evening for our BBQ. Will definitely return

John was absolutely brilliant, always happy to help and have a great chat. Genuinely cares about everyone who stays here! The site is very well maintained and in a wonderful location. No showers but that is clearly stated when booking and makes the whole experience much more adventurous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be baring it in mind for future holidays!

A fantastic location where John (and mum) were great hosts. Lovely stream, pretty solar power lights and a stunning view into the neighbouring 'sugar loaf' mountain. Facilities were as described. Portaloo did the job. Spring water was wonderful. Loved it (and thank you for the milk!!)

What an amazing place, so lucky that we had the whole place to ourselves including fire pit. Greeted by the owner upon arrival and given a guide of the land and surrounding areas.
