Postcode on the satnav takes you straight there, so easy to find in the middle of nowhere down a series of country lanes. Site was spotlessly clean. Nice welcome from Pip the owner. Lots of available space for camping although the remaining pitches could be quite slopey if it starts filling up. We had to book two nights on the weekend even though we only wanted to stay for one, but the cost was reasonable enough not to be a problem. Adults-only site, so pretty quiet although there was one caravan whose residents decided that their conversation was so interesting that you had to hear it from the other side of the site.

A beautiful location and a well maintained site. Everywhere was immaculately clean and tidy including the toilets and shower block. We had a hard standing fully serviced pitch which was all that was available to us with a campervan. We are unable to use this sort of service so a cheaper grass pitch would have suited us better. This is a minor point and we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return again soon.

While I arrived at the campsite, I was met by a very friendly and polite lady. While signing paperwork, the owner very kindly gave us papers showing all local shops pubs and how to get to main town Hereford. Afterwards the owner showed us around the site and all amenities, which I have to say are one of the cleanest we have ever been to. On site there is a small lake that you can fish. When we we're setting up our tent, we realised part had broken. I explained to the lady our dilemma and while she was midway doing her chores, mowing the lawns, she stopped and went out of her way to find us places we could go and try sort out the situation we had got ourselves into. Unfortunately we weren't able to afford to get problem fixed so we had to leave. As soon as we get our tent repaired we are definitely going back to the campsite as it was such an idyllic place to get away from the normal rat race life most of us live in. It was an ideal place if you have no children and are looking for a relaxing holiday, they even welcomed our dog and on site they had a dog wash, which was cleaner than most other amenities for people on other sites! They made us feel very comfortable. The owners are very friendly people.

Great pitch, smoothest grass I've had while camping. No rocks while putting pegs down either! Women's facilities were very clean and spacious, male facilities not as big but very clean nonetheless.

Excellent and quiet site. Only downside for me was that is was a long trek from my pitch to use the disabled facilities at the top of the site.

We had a lovely stay at Burhope with a great friendly welcome from the owner. Lovely clean site with all that we needed. Lovely location to pop off to different areas, visiting sites etc. Great pub just up the road, which has a very homely welcome too. Our only downside was water puddling on our hardstanding after heavy rain. This came through the bottom of the drive away awning. In fairness, there was some really heavy rain. Apart from this, our stay was perfect and would highly recommend.

This was my first time taking the campervan out for the weekend and I couldn't have wished for a more fabulous campsite, hosted by an even more fabulous host that was super helpful upon arrival! In a very rural location but only 4 miles away from the essentials (such as the pub 😆) Would highly recommend this site!

Been to this site now on numerous occasions. The owner is one of the friendliest people I have met, I remember my first visit like it was yesterday, and the welcome we received when we arrived was fantastic. It's a quiet site, which is what we like and there is a well-stocked shop about 10 mins drive away with lots of local produce on sale. The main town of Hereford is just over 15 mins away. The pond on site is full of fish for the anglers amongst you. If it's peace and quiet you want, this is the place to go.
