About Buckland Campsite
Located in rural Dorset, just a 15 minute drive from the seaside harbour town of Weymouth, this is a prime location for those looking for country walks and days out at the seaside. Tents, trailer tents and campervans are welcome across the site's range of 6m x 8m grass pitches. Opt for one of the 20 non electric, or 30 electric pitches, each suitable for up to six guests. In the camping field, you'll all also have plenty of open space for games and family fun. If glamping is more your style, the site also offers six charming bell tents sleeping up to four guests. Inside the bell tents, you'll find double and two single beds, electric sockets, lighting and lovely soft furnishings. Outside you will have a fire pit outdoor tables and chairs, great for nights under the stars. You will also have a private shower and bathroom in facilities nearby. BBQs and campfires in fire pits are welcome, but so as not to harm the lush wide field, the owners ask that you borrow some bricks to raise them from the ground before you start sizzling your sausages. Four-legged friends are allowed for camping and touring, but not in the bell tents, sorry.
Camping and touring is open from 23rd May until 31st August. The bell tents are available from 11th July until 31st August.
