VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesMar 2025

Staff were brilliant and very helpful. This was our first time taking our 14 week old baby camping in the van and we had our 3 year old with us. The facilities are nice and clean, showers are warm and the family washrooms are especially brilliant and very helpful. The village of Hope is only a 5 minute walk for supplies and cafes/pubs etc. There is a bus stop outside of the campsite and a train station is very close by. This site is the perfect base for exploring the local area. We will definitely be staying again in the future ๐Ÿ™‚

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesMar 2025

Very pleasant site which is spotlessly clean and very well run. We would recommend this site to anyone. You can easily walk into Hope and we actually walked into Castleton which was only two miles along the riverside path.

Lovely campsite

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (Adult Only)Mar 2025

Lovely campsite, clean with excellent facilities. Pleasant staff member greeted us on arrival and took us to our pitch - E14 - which was by the river. Nice level pitch a little bit away from the toilets and showers. Short walk to the village with 2 pubs, we ate in the curry cabin, excellent food and you could bring your own drink too. Walked along the river at the back of the Woodroffe Arms pub to Castleton, took about 30 mins. Castleton very nice, we ate in the George pub, food was lovely. We got the bus back to Hope and got off at the Traveller's Rest pub which was a 15 minute walk back to campsite, again, this was a nice pub. Only small negative comment was a bit of heavy traffic noise from the main road in the very early hours of the morning.
