Really nice site that feels remote but is actually very close to a nearby town with pubs, shops, etc. Lots of space to pitch so you can have your own space away from others and lots of picnic tables and fire pits already available to set up next to, as well as wood available from the hosts. Toilets are clean and get the job done, and there's a proper washing up station just outside them which is very useful. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and booking was very straight forward for a relatively big group of 8 people. No issues with noise or anything else. Dogs allowed for £1 a night and we had our gazebo for free. Would happily camp here again.

Wonderfully peaceful campsite nestled in a beautiful quiet part of Derbyshire/neighbouring Notts. Easily accessible with amenities I do not expect… hot shower, hot washing up facilities, proper toilets. Super friendly greeting and fellow campers were friendly. Local shops just up the road. Lovely pub and restaurant just a walk away worth a look into. Ideally located to access the Peak District. All this with a very affordable rate. My son loved his first experience of camping. Thanks ever so much…we'll be back. Rob and Cole.

Lovely campsite if you want back to basics in the middle of a field and pretty quiet. Was lovely just having a campfire, little bbq and quality time with my daughter. Good facilities, clean and tidy. Definitely go again when I need a reset.

The site was as expected from the website information. The staff were very helpful, facilities were adequate, it was nice to be able to have an open fire, individual camping areas were well separated, we will definitely revisit.

Me and my partner stayed at yew tree farm just for one night but it was lovely. Nice spot in a good location only 15min walk to the greyhound pub where we had a lovely meal. Met some nice people there too and just sat chatting around a campfire. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon! Facilities nice and clean and not far from tents

Lovely site, took my 10 year old son, first time camping with a campfire, he absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be going to Yew Tree Farm again!

Lovely, quiet location, not far from a nice pub/restaurant and within walking distance too. We charged our batteries up again, which is solely what we wanted to achieve. The lady running it was lovely.

This was my first solo camping trip and it did not disappoint! I had plenty of space to myself as the pitches are really spread out. I pitched myself on the edge of the field so I was looking out onto surrounding greenery, it was beautiful. The toilet block and shower were really clean and better than basic and I never had to wait for the shower. I loved the fact there were no cars on the field, there is a wheelbarrow available for taking your stuff to your pitch. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend and the perfect place for a solo trip, would love to come back again.

Toilets were always clean and stocked with toilet roll/paper towels. The washing up area was under cover and always clean. Lovely location with some nice views, and within reach of plenty of attractions/days out. We enjoyed being able to have a campfire on the days when it didn't rain. Tonnes of space and the site is very quiet and peaceful. The field was extremely sodden due to the recent heavy rain so be prepared for that! Very windy also, I guess due to the openness and location. Sad to see the cows have been moved from the adjoining field because we enjoyed camping right next to them last time. But overall, good value for money and we really enjoyed our stay.
Camping beyond expectations!

I didn't expect much, but couldn't have expected better. I attended the site, in passing, just before my holiday and had the opportunity to speak to the owner(s) who were helpful, friendly and happy. I arrived in the afternoon, the site was getting busy but the owner was busy bustling around seeing to all of her guests and ensuring the site was operating efficiently. The facilities were clean at the start, clean throughout and clean at the end. There are two toilets and one shower (spotless in the men's but comment on the ladies) in each gender area with sinks, mirrors and waste bins. I couldn't fault it. No issues with hot water, cold water or lack of refuse facilities. I needed to speak to the owner a few times during my visit, but never to complain and found her accessible every time - even when she was walking her (absolutely beautiful) pack of dogs, she would say hi and ask if everything was OK. I have no qualms about recommending this site to anyone in the area and intend to return many times when coming back to the area (subject to availability).

Booking was really easy. Facilities (toilet and shower) are fantastic. The rules for the field are great too. Currently the field is a bit like a quagmire after all the recent rainfall, meaning there are a few pitches available that aren't already flooded.

Good little campsite, easy to get to local areas for hikes and exploring. Local pubs and food places, one pub easy access by foot the rest I drove, but not far. Local town not far. The site is pretty flat and the conditions made for an easy pitch on wet mud! Would recommend for anyone exploring around the area. The toilet and shower area was fit for purpose. Had hot water which was needed on a cold trip.

This is such a lovely place to stay. The toilets were clean and showers are very nice. Although you feel as if you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere, if you need a shop there is lots locally and a big Tesco is only about a 10-15 drive away. The site was great, you can pitch anywhere and there was plenty of room. You have to park in the car park but they offer a wheelbarrow to help you move everything to the field which is great! We were a couple with a 14 yo and an 8 yo who we kept quiet. I got the impression it's a more relaxed, quiet place to camp, which suited us, but something to bare in mind if you want to 'party''! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we would definitely camp there again!
