Things to do on site and in the Holt area
Why not walk along the coastal path, taking in the scenery and birds/wildlife en route? The rugged Norfolk coast is best enjoyed on foot. A boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point is also recommended. Or you can go crabbing at Blakeney Quay, which is a lovely bonding activity for families.
Most weekends there is live music at The Harbour Rooms in Blakeney for a bit of fun nightlife too. In Blakeney village there is a large playing field with a zip wire and tennis courts.
The seaside towns of Wells-Next-The-Sea and Sheringham are a short drive away or take the Coast Hopper bus.
The nearby town of Holt offers a country park and some incredible stately homes such as Sheringham Park and Mannington Hall. Close, too, is the unusual Shell Museum in Glandford, which contains a selection of sea shells in its exhibition.
