About Black Beck Farm
This small family run farm in the charming Lakes village of Bouth is your perfect base in the Lake District's heart. Bouth is roughly 20 minutes from Coniston Water and just 15 minutes in the car from fabulous Windermere. Surrounded by lovely market towns, and quaint Lakeland villages, it's a setting that's not to be missed. The site's grass camping and touring pitches are within beautiful countryside, while there are also several glamping options. There are two glamping lodge pods, both of which sleep up to five with two sleeping areas, one with a double bed and the other with three fold out beds that are suitable for children only. Inside is a barbecue, as well as electric lighting, electric sockets also USB points and a picnic table outside. The shepherd's hut sleeps two with a comfy double bed and wood burning stove, there is no electric inside the shepherd's hut but there is battery operated lights. Outside is a gated decking area with space for a barbecue. Full of romance and history, there's a bow top gypsy caravan that sleeps up to two with an extending double bed, a Queen Anne wood burning stove and battery operated lights, there is no electricity in the caravan. Settle down inside, cook and relax with log seating outside and your friends can even join you in a special camping spot just next to you. Please note that bedding and towels are not provided in any of the glamping accommodations. A maximum of two dogs are welcome to join you.
Black Beck Farm is open from 18/03 to 17/11 in 2024 and from 17/03 to 16/11 in 2025.

Walkers and nature lovers will be itching to get on their boots and take to the Grizedale Forest, but the tranquillity of Windermere Lake Cruises makes taking to the water unmissable too.
Just a five minute walk will take you to the White Hart Inn, where you'll be treated to tasty meals and real ales, with a chance to experience the authentic village atmosphere.
Ulverston is only 5 miles away, perfect for a day when you fancy urban fun with shops and tasty meals out. Larger towns such as Barrow In Furness, Kendal and Lancaster are easy to reach in the car.
Looking for an adventure in the clouds? Black Beck Farm is an official launch site for Pendle and Cumbria Balloons. You can take off from the House Field just below the campsite and tour over the stunning national park.
