Waterrow is perfect for camping very welcoming and friendly staff, fantastic grounds to wander around quite unique, the showers are excellent with even a doggy and muddy boot shower! The town, Wiveliscombe, is not far where there are sweet individual shops but just a Co-op and local store for food, Waitrose is in Wellington via back lanes. We had delivered to the campsite a wonderful Punjabi curry takeaway from Wivvy which was superb! The grounds are kept immaculate and as adults only peaceful. There is a bit of traffic noise at certain times of the day depending on which site you get but not too intrusive. They have compiled a lovely walking leaflet from the camping ground which we did a few of - lovely :)
A beautiful place to stay

I'd highly recommend especially if you're taking a dog. There is a beautiful walk along a stream right next to the site. The amenities were very clean and well set out. Each of the pitches were well spaced and sheltered with beautiful bush and flower displays either side. A peaceful and quiet site. The hosts communicated very well we're able to accolade with our late arrival. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
Perfect for a quiet chilled break

Greeted by a friendly staff member on arrival, the pitch was accessible, toilets and showers clean and well looked after. The layout is good and dog friendly. The only thing I would say is that there is a pond in the dog field which isn't ideal and means some dogs can't go off lead, and for some reason we couldn't access BBC TV (we were on a serviced pitch). Also there wasn't a reception at the time of our stay, not sure about plans for the future.
Lovely, relaxing stay

Beautiful, tranquil setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you're planning on using public transport, it's best to check the availability of buses if you're visiting over a bank holiday.
Lovely, very private site

Lovely, private, adults only site. Excellent WIFI and TV booster points available. Pub just 7 mins walk away. About 6 or 7 walks available to do directly from the campsite.
A great adult only site for a relaxing time

We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly relaxed, there are lots of walks and great scenery around the site. The site was spotless, the staff helpful and we even had a choice of pitches, which was a lovely change.

Excellent touring park. My only reason for giving 4 stars for location is linked to the fact that it is not walking distance to a village and when you have to unhitch your awning. This is a learning lesson for me. The location for peace and quiet is ideal.
Best site we have been to in a while

Very well appointed site with excellent well maintained facilities, even down to a boot wash and dog wash. Very good pub with takeaway pizza and imaginative eat in menu within 10 min walk. Good local walks and a good base for visiting the many Somerset attractions.

Very nice park, pitches are of a decent size and most have hedges between the next pitch. A lovely welcome when we arrived and we were directed onto our pitch. There's a spring water tap for drinking water, we had a serviced pitch which saved time moving to fill up with water. Very clean facilities and there's a coffee machine and a microwave available. We're definitely going to stay again, next time we venture to the West Country.

Being picky would of liked more privacy between pitches and there was no on site shop but that’s being picky! Other than that very nice site, quiet, clean and was as stated and they had no control over the rain lol.

Peaceful, clean site with very friendly and helpful wardens. Lovely adult only site. There isn't a site shop which is a shame but we understand there is one being planned. Food van came on Friday and the food was lovely. Will defo stay again!

we stayed for 3 nights and were very satisfied with everything. The staff were all very helpful. There are nice walks directly from the site with beautiful views all around. The only down side was that the pub down the road now closes Sunday afternoon until Wednesday. These were the days we visited so didn't have a chance to sample the food and drink.

Beautiful and immaculately clean site located alongside the riverbank. All the facilities were pristine. Great pub a few minutes walk away with excellent food. First time we had tried an adult and dog only site and will certainly return. Lots to do in the area. We drove to Lorna Doone Valley on Exmoor and walked down the valley which was truly stunning.
Lovely site, couldn't fault it

Peaceful site with excellent facilities. It was like the owners had thought of everything. Warm welcome, good information, dog walks from the site and miles of footpaths and small roads to wander further afield. Dog washing point was great. Being February we weren't blessed with the weather, and appreciated the barn with its drying room, laundry, washup etc. We will come back definitely, think this place is a great find.
