About Church Farm
Enjoy a countryside escape to this shepherd's hut in Dundon, ideally located for exploring all that Somerset has to offer. Glastonbury is a 15 minute drive from the site and the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty can be reached within 30 minutes. The Duck Hut is a fully furnished shepherd's hut set in a private garden surrounded by trees and shrubs for a truly peaceful stay. Sleeping two, there is a double bed that pulls down in the dining area, there is also an equipped kitchenette for your self catering needs as well as an ensuite bathroom. Outside you'll find a BBQ, seating and there is a hot tub too that's use is shared with other guests staying in the bed and breakfast and barn. Bedding, towels and crockery is all provided for your stay. Head to the local village just a 15 minute walk away which has a lovely pub to reward your efforts! Set in the Polden Hills, there are miles of footpaths around to explore too. Somerton is something you should add to your itinerary and it can be reached by car in ten minutes. Your canine companion is welcome to join you on your stay. There is a BBQ outside of the shepherd's hut, open fires are not permitted.

This site is located in the heart of Somerset making it an ideal base to explore the county, famously known for it's cheddar cheese and cider! Cheddar Gorge (45 minutes) is the birthplace of the cheese with the caves offering the ideal climate for maturation. Why not take a tour!
You'll be nestled in the Polden Hills, great for keen walkers especially those bringing along their four legged friends! Or the Mendip Hills AONB (30 minutes) offers some really beautiful walking routes.
Somerton and Glastonbury are both within 15 minutes by car and offer a great range of shops, pubs and restaurants to try. Or, Taunton (50 minutes) has a cider farm, steam railway and pretty gardens to explore.
