We had a wonderful relaxing time on this campsite. The facilities were the cleanest we've experienced, some toilets were a bit run down and smelly but on the whole, very impressed with all the other toilets. The beach is beautiful, bit of an uphill climb but the views are worth the walk. Would definitely recommend and go back.
Amazing location for the beautiful beach

Amazing beach right next door with seals swimming wild. Some of the other guest not amazing, leaving dog mess right next to tents.

A lovely, short holiday with my daughter, sister and nephew. Close to the beach, not too crowded and lovely swimming in the sea with seals.
Brilliant!

The site itself is amazing with access to a beautiful beach which we spent all of our days. The kids loved seeing the seals so close to the shore and the "beach library" that was available ensured they had everything and more to make their days fulfilled. We loved the evenings sat around the fire pit, toasting marshmallows and enjoying a few bevvies while the kids played on the well maintained park. The shop was well stocked for all essentials you'd need, we drove out to Great Yarmouth for a bigger stock of food from a local supermarket. The food trucks also seemed really nice, we chose to eat out for our last night for "Burger and Kebabs" as advertised, however, the vendor had no kebabs and said it had been wrongly advertised. Unfortunately, I wouldn't rate the burgers or the nachos for the price, very average and in hindsight we should have purchased burgers from the shop and cooked ourselves. The only downside of the campsite is say is the cleanliness of the toilet and washing facilities within the main part of the campsite (the toilets and shower block close to the shop were immaculate) let it down unfortunately. We will definitely return, a lovely site overall.

First time camping with my children alone and it couldn't have gone smoother. Check in was smooth and straightforward. The beach is so close myself and my children loved that, it was clean and sandy. Facilities on site were on the whole great, the Wi-Fi tent was a hit with my teenage sons who were getting twitchy at times, but they all enjoyed a good game of football and played in the park. The fire pit is a lovely touch too. There's a great variety of food trucks if your stay is longer. We will be back!

First time camping with grandkids, they had an amazing time and didn't want to go home. Highly recommend for families. The beach is less than 5 minutes away, beautiful golden sands, and if you are lucky you can see the seals.
Highly recommended.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean facilities. Everything was there - even a dog shower and beach shower. The beach was on the campsite. Great to have the food trucks and onsite shop. I would go again.

Superb location. Pitches too small (for large tents). Showers OK, toilets decent and well looked after. Good shop, some problems with stock availability. Would benefit from WiFi across the site. Great access to the seals!
Happy holidays

This was our first time at this site. We had an amazing time, location is fantastic and shower blocks and toilets were clean. Loved the campsite and all it offered, was lots to do for the younger children and the teenagers. The beach is amazing, we were delighted to see the seals. Staff were very helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Would visit this campsite again.

This site is fairly remote on the Norfolk Coast, which is maybe why there is such a large seal colony there, you have to get up early and be the first on the beach to see them. About a mile South of the site. It is a family campsite, no boom boxes or idiots, tons of kids for yours to make camp friends with. In the evening, there is a bar and various smart looking food pods turn up for savoury and sweet treats. Place is immaculate, staff are lovely.

Waxham Sands keeps delivering! This was our second stay and we really enjoyed it. Perfect place for family, including a pet. Also, the showers were nicely upgraded from the last year.
Nice, clean and hassle free!

Giving this one four stars across the board for a family of five with children (11 - 14). The site was in a nice remote location. Basic services were provided and everything was clean and tidy. The beach was a key centre point and is easily accessible/walkable from the site. The site had nice space and was really low hassle. There were some basic play areas for the kids and mobile bar and alternating food vans. There was nothing spectacular but we really enjoyed our stay. We extended for a third night in the end (and tried for a fourth but it was booked out).

This site is perfectly-placed for exploring the Norfolk Broads and it's costal area. The pet-friendly site gives direct access to a fabulous beach where nosey seals come up close to check out what you are doing. There are numerous toilets blocks, showers and I never had to queue even though the site was full. It is a family friendly park with great facilities for children and adults. Mobile food vans come onto site offering something different every night. The pizza was our favourite, they were delicious, and a mobile bar enabled us to wash it down. The community area is a brilliant place with a camp fire and seating. We spent our evenings chilling there after an adventurous day out. We will certainly be returning!

Just had a lovely weekend at Waxham Sands. The toilets nearest to the beach path were a bit of a tight squeeze to get in, so we used one of the other blocks which had more room and were a lot cleaner. The beach is fantastic with seals swimming in the sea. The site is well worth a stay. Be aware though, that if you want to get fish and chips or any other takeaway it is cash only. This is not just on site but in the nearby villages as well.

Waxham Sands Campsite is a lovely place to bring your family, meet up with friends, or have a relaxing break as a couple. The staff were very friendly and helpful with advice. The site facilities are spotless and it has a well stocked shop at reception. On the Friday we were there, a mobile fish and chip van, beer and cocktails unit, and crepes with rolled ice cream unit were there - lovely on a summers evening. The site has direct access to glorious Waxham Sands and the seals that are in abundance swimming along the shore stopping to take a peek at you. This was our first time here and we shall be returning with family members in the near future. We can highly recommend the site.

Had a great time. Spent two nights here, recommend for all ages. Got to see the seals on the beach and swimming in the sea. The pitches are good size. Toilets and showers are excellent. Reception welcoming and had a shop with most things you'd need or if you wanted a treat, they would have something. We took our dog, he loved playing in the sand dunes. Will recommend to friends and family.

We arrived and were met with a very friendly and helpful reception. Pitch was good and next to one of the toilet blocks. We found the facilities to be very clean and although this is the largest site we have visited so far, it was a lovely stay, didn't feel crowded or overlooked. The beach is brilliant and there is also a wooded area to explore. Overall, we were very pleased with our decision to stay here and would recommend it to anyone.
Brilliant park excellent for nature lovers and everyone
