Very loud road noise

Very disappointed with the location with extremely loud road noise. Will not be returning.

We are sorry that you found the nearby road noisy, we do have some road noise on site, and we are very open about it. Most people do not mind it, but some people do not like it.

A gem of a campsite

Just back from a 3 night stay at Pinecones. Was greeted by a lovely helpful man giving us everything we would need for our stay, including a map & recommendation of a walk into Sandringham Visitor Centre which was easy to follow & a definite visit if you have children. The bathrooms were actually the best we have ever experienced on a campsite 10/10! Food available fri, sat & sun mornings on site and little shop which I wish had been open slightly more (only little thing). Would highly recommend & already have recommended to our friends, we will definitely be back.

Great, well run site

Great site, great location especially for walkers. Very good amenities within walking distance. More commercialised places like Hunstanton a short drive away. Definitely one for my shortlist!

Great site

A great site with central location to Heacham, Hunstanton and Sandringham. Staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially Martin. We enjoyed our 5 days at the site. One point to note, is that the site is located next to the A149 so traffic noise is evident, so if you don't want complete quiet it's great. Picnic huts are amazing.

Quiet

Nice, clean and quiet. Shop hours were too short, and there were no gas cylinders in the shop either!

Great location

Pinecones is well located for exploring the West Norfolk area and attractions. Our grandchildren loved the play area and we were lucky that on a Sunday evening there were no other pitches taken in our row so it was very quiet. Walking around the site the traffic noise from the A149 is considerable but the banking raised behind the pitches reduces the noise greatly on your actual pitch. Recommended.

Perfect in every way

Firstly we were blessed with brilliant weather and camped during the week so was super quiet. Site was ace, not hard to get to, close to lots of other amenities and nice locations. Clean, tidy and well presented site. Staff were great and so was the toilet/ shower rooms. Like having a 70's disco everytime we showered, cool lights and music. All for a great price and will defo be going back.

Good facilities

Everything was good about this campsite except the constant road noise, with the main road being next to the site.

Wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Pinecones! Lots of space for pitches in a beautiful location. The facilities were very clean and well kept, and there was helpful clear information on local walks and activities.

Nice break

We are likely to return to this site but would request a pitch away from the road which could be noisy during the day. We appreciate this is a dog friendly site but we felt that some dog owners need to exercise more control over their pets as we observed dogs being allowed to urinate on other campers' pitches while they were not there.

Wonderful

We had a fantastic time at Pine Cones. Martin was incredibly welcoming and friendly, the facilities were fantastic (disco shower!!) and son, and us by proxy, loved the play park. Would definitely recommend.

Great little site

Great little campsite. The shop very limited though, but not an issue with supermarkets not far! Very clean throughout the whole site and plenty of bathrooms and showers. Staff and campers all very friendly and helpful.

Jubilee break

Easy to find and self check-in. Not as noisy as you would think being next to A149. Easy access to Sandringham Estate for lots of walks and to the beach as well.

Perfect for our short visit to Norfolk

Can't think of any complaints, but we did visit when it was fairly quiet, which suits our needs. Would definitely use again to visit the area.

Peaceful and clean

Such a cute and pretty place, the toilets were amazingly clean and staff all very friendly.

We have done a lot of work over the last winter to improve the site such as enlarging all of the fully serviced pitches, adding picnic huts or jack and jill benches or picnic benches, we have installed privacy fences which are maturing at the moment. Highly recommend

Great site with great sized pitches - we had a fully serviced pitch and loved the picnic bench. Great location... very close to Sandringham which has an amazing play park for kids. We also had a day in Hunstanton which has loads to do in the area. However, the facilities set this site apart from others - individual and lots of lovely little touches like heated towel rails - and I loved the music playing!
