We are a family of 4 and not very familiar with camping - proper beginners. I can't wait to go back to this site for longer. The place is truly fantastic. Site is clean and spacious. Restaurant is lovely. Hidden attractions for kids is another plus! Perfect family holiday!
Lovely, clean site with easy access

Lovely quiet site (out of school holidays). Large pitch areas with lots of accessible walking pathways. Easy wide access from the main road, which is always a plus in the narrow lanes. Bar and restaurant are a lovely bonus. Clean showers with lots of hot water. Highly recommend.

A lovely site and one we have been to before. Staff very smiley and welcoming. Tiny recommendation would be to ensure all shower doors open with the hooks for towel, clothing etc on the open side.

Excellent site. Stayed five nights in our motorhome. Well maintained grounds with plenty of room on each pitch and the reception, restaurant, bar and shop all were excellent and looked new. Plenty to do if you have kids. It's a great base to head out from to explore Norfolk. All the staff we met were very friendly. A great place and excellent value for money.

We had a great stay the last few days, just what we needed. However, great park that it is, we were a little disappointed in the kids arcade room. The pool table took £3 of our money and we could not finish the game due to the white ball not coming out. The arcade game machines themselves did not register when we inserted money into them, so we lost money again. I think a slight revamp would be good, making the the room lighter with machines that work, etc. With having 3 children that enjoy such games, we were slightly disappointed. Overall, a great stay.

This was our first time away in our new campervan and we wanted to go somewhere that had food/bar and shop facilities and all amenities required and this site didn't disappoint. It was peaceful and had well serviced touring pitches. The cleanliness of the whole site was outstanding, the staff were very friendly and the site is close to the towns, should you need them. The only downfall is that the data signal wasn't great but you can access Wi-Fi connection in the restaurant/bar area.
Fab as always

Love this place for a short weekend break after a hard week at work and it's only 30 mins away from home. Once there it's peaceful but there's a clubhouse onsite if you want food or a drink. It's also an easy bike ride to Thurne and Potter Heigham We only visit in low season as we feel the price per night is reasonable. However, outside of this period, it nearly doubles.

We had a wonderful stay in the meadow. The only gripe was the early morning noise. The bins were emptied at 5:30am, which made a lot of noise. The sewage was also taken early and grass cutting/maintenance etc started very early, which was annoying! Otherwise, a lovely site with great facilities.

We had a great stay in our Motorhome. We parked in The Orchard and the gravel surfaced pitch was a great size. Plenty of room for an awning etc, or to park a car alongside a caravan. We inadvertently arrived after dark and it was quite difficult to see the pitch numbers, Clippesby advise arriving before 9pm or dusk, whichever is soonest, but we had a delay on the journey. The shower/toilet facilities are first rate. The grounds are nice to walk around. Our only criticism is that there isn't a dog friendly area in the café (Basecamp) etc. Dogs are allowed if you're sitting outside to have a drink or a meal but in the winter this isn't really an option. We will return at some point though. We had a good break and the site is very peaceful with plenty of room between pitches.

Basing this review on our stay in March so the park was pretty quiet, which we enjoyed but unable to comment on the summer season with children around. The park was lovely and well thought out with different areas of pitches. We had a hard standing with EHU and there was plenty of room for the caravan, awning and car. There is a nice wooded area surrounding the area we were in. It was a short walk to the shop, restaurant, showers and laundry. Everything you need is in one place and everything is well kept. I loved the showers and the fact that you get a whole area to yourself, a good sized shower cubicle with toilet and sink, plenty of room to get ready, put make up on etc. The washing facilities and laundry room were also very good. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice. The shop had pretty much everything you may need. There is a lovely walk around the site, in wooded areas and down the lanes. The location is also very good for access to the broads and a good area for cycling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would happily return. Most people I spoke to on site had visited numerous times.

Check-in was smooth and efficient, with a friendly team member guiding us to our pitch. Our pitch was a bit snug to manoeuvre onto due to the narrow road/track (no motor mover), but once settled, it proved to be satisfactory. It was a fully serviced hardstanding pitch, thoughtfully arranged with water and waste facilities conveniently close to the van. Visiting during the off-season afforded us a tranquil and serene atmosphere, though we anticipate it may become busier during peak times. The park features a cycle path that doubles as an enjoyable dog-walking route, and the ample space allows for leisurely strolls. On-site, there's a bustling bar and restaurant that seems to attract many non-residents, likely popular among locals. While the food was reasonably priced, my wife was disappointed with her plant-based fish option. However, I found the cod to be satisfactory, and we also enjoyed some delicious pizzas earlier in the week. This location serves as a convenient base for exploring the Norfolk Broads or the Norfolk coast. Overall, we would certainly consider staying again, perhaps during the off-season when we prefer a quieter atmosphere.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Clippesby Hall. Before I say anything else, please try their pizzas. They are amazing and fairly large as well. The staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were spotlessly clean. Make sure you book Sunday lunch in advance. Plenty for children to do, and the whole site was nice and peaceful. We'll be returning very soon with family.
Definitely a place to go back to

The 'Garden of Eden' site. The layout and size of the park are brilliant. Facilities are the best I've come across on a campsite. The only minor downside was the access roads to the pitches. It rained from the heavens when we stayed and getting about on foot meant that with all the rain, the pebble roadways became muddy puddles. But it's definitely a place I'd return to.

It was a really nice site with lots of different site options, we stayed in a wooded area, which was quiet and pretty. The only negative is that if you have dogs, they are not allowed inside at all....ok in the summer, but in the winter when it's cold, it was a nuisance. We would have made full use of the restaurant and bar but unfortunately couldn't use them...if you can use these facilities, they really looked great. Excellent shower facilities...probably the best we've used and spotlessly clean. Will def come back in good weather 😌
Could be perfect with a few tweaks

Great site, well spaced pitches and very scenic. Would have been 5 stars, however no Wi-Fi beyond the bar area itself is a bit behind the times, particularly for the rate level charged. No designated area to allow dogs in the restaurant/bar is missing a trick, as we would have spent an evening in there otherwise, but we couldn't. Nice showers although in the mens one hairdryer didn't work in one cubicle and another had no toilet seat cover. Overall though, a lovely stay.

Lovely stay. Location of site was great, easy to get to but far enough out of the way to be quiet and feel secluded. Pitches were great, facilities (especially the showers) were always clean and warm. We didn't use the shop/café/restaurant but all looked absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back!

Two nights with my little campervan on a site with by far the best facilities I've ever experienced. Loos and showers fab, great breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Apparently jump-starting visitors whose batteries go flat before departure is just routine for them! I saw loads of seals and pups at Winterton on Sea and walked for miles on the beautiful sandy beach at Sea Palling. So even though I would have liked to be nearer to the sea, and for the bar to stay open a bit later than 5pm on the day after Boxing Day, I am a very satisfied customer.

We have only camped a couple of times but already recommending this site as it was perfect in every way. The food was delicious and the showers and toilets were like being at home and cleaned very often. Couldn't fault a thing.

Arrived about 6.30pm, collected map but struggled to find pitch. There was a mix up with other guests over electric hook up as not numbered but it was rectified easily. Lady behind bar was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The homemade pizza was fabulous. We didn't feel the reception staff the following day were too helpful and felt the local knowledge was lacking.

Very wet weather has created a lot of mud, but that problem is not unique! However, the all weather pitches do the job nicely. We altered the length of our stay and had to move pitches, and also had requirements due to expected very high winds. Staff at reception were polite, helpful and got my needs sorted! Facilities were clean and well managed. Definitely stay here again.

Lovely well maintained and clean site. Restaurant food excellent....covered outside area for those like us with dogs.....shame it wasn't a bit more enclosed against the elements though. Staff friendly and helpful.
