We only stayed one night but were very happy to be here. Very friendly hosts, who gave us a splendid hint for our dinner: Pizza at The Alma. This, combined with the beautiful site, made our stay perfect. A big meadow just around the corner was a perfect spot for our three dogs to play.

We were very happy with the site and location and on check in it was very peaceful and quiet, being a week day. We went as a couple and likewise it was largely occupied with couples. However, it became quite busy with families with children of all ages for the weekend. We were very unhappy though that we were pulled up by the site managers for returning to the site a bit later one night, even though we told them so that they were aware. We came back quietly and respectfully, even turning on off the van headlights and quietly hooked up again and went to bed. However, when the families arrived in their tents and they were making a lot of noise up to midnight there was no such intervention. It seemed clear to us that the site managers applied rules differently and unfairly to different visitors. There were other issues with site management such as constant repeating of instructions (which wasn't required and became quite tiresome) and so in summary I would advise the site owner to maybe consider retraining the on-site managers. We will therefore not revisit the site but others it seems may have a different experience.

Highly recommend. The couple looking after the site were great, very helpful and explained all the utilities. I thought time and effort was given to our location on the site, the lady said I've given you this spot for all day sun and a tree for your dog 🐶 100% recommend.

The campsite was picturesque and Karen and Simon were very welcoming hosts! The facilities were very good and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for exploring Kent and the pub next door was an additional bonus. Thank you for a lovely bank holiday weekend!

Such a lovely setting, really picturesque. Had all the facilities we needed, clean showers and loos. Absolutely loved the quirky barn sale and lovely pub in walking distance. The site managers was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Only stayed here one night, but was greeted by the owners on arrival. Was shown the facilities and my plot, which was situated on the edge of the field. The park was busy, but no loud discerning noises and I slept like a log. Facilities were very good and kept exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great little site. Lovely location and nice and quiet. The local pub was 5 mins walk and did a lovely stone oven pizza to take away. There is a lovely woods just past the pub where we took our dog for a walk. The facilities at the site are clean and tidy, but what impressed me most, was the quality of the Wi-Fi. Bearing in mind you're in the middle of a field, it never dropped out once, amazing.

The site is basically in an orchard, which right now is full of blossom and really pretty. Friendly, helpful owners and basic, but nice facilities makes this a nice place to spend a few days. Some pitches are a bit cramped and you don't get much privacy, but it's all friendly and relaxed.

We were welcomed onto the site by the lovely Karen and Simon. They were warm and informative from the start. A lovely site, which was quiet when we stayed. It has good facilities, even a small shop. A wander down the lane led us to a pub, where we were served a really nice pint and the dogs were welcome. Although we had lots of rain and there were no hardstanding pitches on site, we were helped on and off our pitch each day, without any complaints. We shall definitely return in the summer, we still feel there's lots to explore in the area. Faversham was really nice, Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay and Sheerness were all within easy distance. Thank you Karen and Simon for being great campsite hosts.

Lovely clean site with friendly and welcoming management. Local pub did good food but limited access with a dog. Could get biscuits, crisps and milk etc on site, but could have done with a proper shop for normal food too. Access to the site meant going down some narrow roads, which was fine in our VW Camper. Place was spotless and generally well maintained. Only let down was the showers, which were really weak and hardly drizzled in both gents and ladies. Nice touch of having access to a freezer and dryer. Well lit overnight.

On arrival we were greeted and told everything we needed to know. On leaving once again we were greeted and wished a safe journey. Super friendly and the site has everything you require. The Alma pub is just a couple of minutes up the lane, always a selling point for us. There is a huge field you can let your dog run around safely in the knowledge it's totally fenced in. Also a dog exercise area. We would definitely return here if in the area again no questions asked.

If you are looking for a remote secluded stay then this place is ideal. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Facilities are very clean. There is not much close by accessible on foot other than an amazing pub (The Alma) which is 2 mins walk from the site. Highly recommended for their food and service. Would suggest booking in advance as only a small but clearly popular venue.

Only stayed one night, but can't fault it from what I experienced. Nine clean facilities, lovely to have a shower that is continuous rather than keep pushing a button in, and a clean shower curtain to section off & keep dry your clothing area. Nice welcome on arrival and handed a piece of paper with free Wi-Fi and other details which was a nice touch. And to top it all off, a lovely village pub called the Alma, a 5 minute walk from the site. Would definitely return if back in the area ;-)
