About Dunn Street Farm
This is a sheep and cattle farm on the North Downs, above the village of Westwell. Here the two camping fields are where hay is made in summer on the centre of the field while camping takes place around the perimeter. During the site's six month off-season the campsites are grazed by sheep. Lots of space for kids to blow off steam and play, with charming chickens, goats and more to be seen in the fields. The main camping field, Strawberry Field, is available for tent camping, caravans and campervans. Two sides of the field are equipped with electric for those requiring electricity (standard 16-Amp Euro sockets). The site is accessible to cars for unloading and loading only, which helps to keep the field largely free of traffic. The second camping field, Brocks' Paddock, is available on a limited basis for tent camping only and is popular with Duke of Edinburgh groups. Campers on Brocks' Paddock are permitted to keep their cars next to their pitches. There is also a shepherd's hut onsite handbuilt by the team using an old farm trailer. Sleeping up to four with a pull out double bed with bed sheets, pillows and duvets and a single over and under bunk bed with sheets only. There is also a fitted gas hob and sink and a cool box. Tea, coffee and kitchen essentials are provided. Outside is a BBQ and fire pit.
The site opens from Easter to September. Paddock pitches are available from 25th July.

Things to do on site and in the Ashford area
Camping here is all about escaping hectic modern life, getting away from the internet apps or buzzing entertainment and focusing on nature.
There is a lovely large field for playing games, flying kites and having barbecues - and there are miles of paths and country lanes for walking and cycling.
There is more wildlife around the site than you can shake a stick at, so for anyone really stuck for ideas, wildlife I-Spy is a great idea, awarding, for example, 10 points for a squirrel and 40 points for a buzzard!
If you fancy a trip, it's only half an hour's drive to Canterbury with its famous cathedral, Whitstable and its tasty oysters or Tenterden.
