We had a lovely stay in the pheasant pod. The pod was cozy and warm in the icy month of November. The hot tub was perfect after a day out walking the fantastic dales ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Emma and family were brilliant. Welcoming, nothing too much trouble and the hot tub was warm and brilliant. Emma kept the wood supply full and the pod was immaculately clean, we couldn't ask for more. We will be back for a further stay.

A delightful stay in Partridge Pod. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of Curlews and Oystercatchers wheeling over the landscape. The pod was well thought out with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We'd recommend this space for those who enjoy nature and the environment and value peace and quiet.

Lovely little pod situated in a great location for the Yorkshire Dales. Spotlessly clean and completed to a high spec. Everything you need in the pod to cook as well - even some milk in the fridge! Owners were lovely and said just to ask if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!

I bought this as a gift for my son and daughter in law. They have had a wonderful time and said it is somewhere they would return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this pod. It was very clean and well-presented with milk, tea and coffee all waiting for us. We were also left two chocolate hearts for Valentine's!! The hot tub is a great addition. Just a word of warning about the first time you warm it up, as the water is fresh and therefore cold, it took a long...long time to get up to temperature. I struggled to get the wood burning well the first night, which probably didn't help. But start the process early. The second night it was much quicker as the tub retained most of the heat through the day. Don't be put off by that though, it was fantastic to enjoy the tub in the open air...a real treat.

Everything was lovely, as advertised and expected, with the exception of no hair dryer (but we did enquire about this beforehand). Highly recommended, definitely would return.

We had a two nights stay back in November as friendship group of 3. The location was absolutely beautiful, the scenery to look out was bliss. You could go for walks but we also took the car and drive to a nearby town. We had a lovely meal at the Gamekeeper's Inn that was recommended by the host. We found it in the file provided in the cabin. The cabin was very clean and very well facilitated with all the things we could need for our stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition and it was well stocked with logs to use over our stay. Additionally, the hosts were amazing and helpful. We would definitely recommend and would definitely like to come back in the future.

We were a little bit unsure on first arrival as the pod is right next to a road which was fairly busy at the time. However, the pod was lovely and clean, had milk and tea bags and beds all set up ready, which was a nice touch. It has heating for cold nights and a good information guide on how to use the hot tub. Don't over do the wood in the hot tub, it heats up very hot and lasts! The night time was actually really peaceful and the road quietened right down. Great view from the pod of the dales, and close to so many lovely places to visit. Highly recommend!
Well equipped and maintined in striking spot, though next to a main road

A delightful spot under a striking geological feature we could climb before breakfast, though the advert could be clearer that it is close to a well-used road. Well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were unresponsive to requests eg for extra bedding. Pub serving decent meals about 150 yards away, Only grouch was an employee mowing the adjacent grass noisily while we were preparing dinner; mentioned to owner.
Site's response
Thank you for your review, we always welcome feedback, Simon. We are very sorry that the cutting of the paddock disturbed your gathering of an extra guest who also brought a dog on to our site and in our pod. My husband then mentioned to you that our listing clearly states that we do not allow pets. My father-in-law came to explain to you before he cut the paddock about needing to do it whilst we had a dry spell, as it's been a very wet summer. He explained that he would be as quick as possible to which you completely ignored him. We take great pride in making sure that our pods are at a high standard for you when you arrive so I was a little disappointed in how you had left our place. I had to re wash all the pots you had used from the gathering the night before as they were filthy. The cover from the extractor fan in the bathroom had been pulled off. The fridge/freezer had been turned and had defrosted all over the floor. The location of our pods is clearly identified on a map that shows where and which roads we are next to before you decide to book with us.

Super location perfect for the Dales. The pod had everything we needed. Great for a short break for the family. We enjoy bird watching whilst the sunsets, amazing view and we got to see lots including bonus owls after dark whilst watching the stars out! Wish we had got in the hot tub the first night to watch the sunset. Only had to light it once and it remained warm for the following day. Was worried that rain would keep us awake the 2nd night, but never heard it at all. Wish we would have stopped longer. The pod had everything we needed.
