A tranquil site with friendly farm animals for the kids, Martletwy Campsite is within 10 min of Oakwood Theme Park and in striking distance of many other parks (Folly Farm, The Dinosaur Park and more) and fantastic beaches at Tenby and Barafundle Bay. There are grass pitches with or without electric, electric hardstanding pitches and a bell tent. Walking distance from a vineyard with tasting sessions and dog friendly too.

About Martletwy Campsite
Based on a well maintained family farm, this base offers touring and camping with the feeling that you've escaped the hustle and bustle. The site is in an ideal location being only 15 mins from Narberth, 20 mins from buzzing Haverfordwest or 30 mins from Tenby. There are ten non electric grass pitches for tents only, and 14 grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook up for tents and tourers. For caravans, campervans and motorhomes there are seven hardstanding pitches with 16 amp electric hook up. All pitches measure 11m x 12m and take up to six people. Alternatively, don't bother bringing your own accommodation and stay in the Bluebelle bell tent. The bell tent sleeps up to six people in a comfy double bed and optional four additional single beds. All bedding and towels are provided, along with cosy furnishes and throws. Outside you'll have your own fire pit and a picnic bench too. The site is far from noisy roads and includes a selection of friendly four legged friends. Pigs, cows, sheep and horses are all at home here and it's a lot of fun for kids to meet and greet them. Campfires are welcome, provided they are raised off the ground, the same applies to BBQs. Dogs are welcome onsite, but not in the bell tent.

Site facilities include a toilet block with hot showers, washing up area, communal fridges and chemical disposal point.
There's a vineyard within walking distance too and the Cresselly Arms is around a ten minute drive away. For food shops, there is an Aldi, Morrisons and Lidl just a 20 minute drive away.

We stayed for four nights. It is a tidy campsite, very quiet and rural which suited us. The only problem we had was the showers, they were not the best with the water pressure and they would keep on going cold most of the time. Other than that everything was well kept and clean and tidy. We would revisit again in the future.

If the coast is calling, you can be sunning yourself on Tenby's sandy beaches within less than a half hour. From tasting sessions to woodland walks, there's also lots to experience at Cwm Deri Vineyard, which is within a quite 10-15 minute stroll.
