Tros Y Waen Holiday Park is a peaceful and secluded site in North Wales, just five miles from the foot of Snowdon and the Menai Bridge. Set in 15 acres of woodland with a pond and stream, this well-maintained site boasts a camping field for tents and electric hardstanding pitches for campervans. Close to the beaches of Anglesey and the popular Llyn Peninsula, it's the perfect location to explore North Wales.

Facilities were very well kept and clean, and Paul the owner is very friendly. Nice flat ground, quiet location, and optional electric hook-ups if required.

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay over the Easter weekend. The location is lush, the facilities were spotless and the owners were so attentive and helpful. My kids enjoyed playing in the stream, visiting the sheep and the adventure playground. Although it was a bank holiday weekend, the park is fairly small and quiet and it didn't feel too busy. It's a stone's throw from the Menai bridge and so we popped over to Anglesey for an afternoon on Rhosneigr beach, which is dog friendly. Our kids have additional needs and had we needed any accommodations I would have felt completely comfortable asking. Highly recommended for other SEND families.

Stayed at this park over Easter weekend, arriving Friday and leaving Sunday. From the minute we arrived until we left, we had a great time. The site is brilliant as are the staff we interacted with. So friendly and helpful, including giving us pointers on alternative walks to do rather than the well known ones. I have only deducted the facilities by one star for one simple reason, and that's that the shower room (while clean) could do with a little more room to dry yourself. It's a little cramped but in all honesty, that's just nit picking. Highly recommend this site for easy access to Snowdon/Llanberis and surrounding areas.

This site is by far the best we've stayed at. The toilet/ shower blocks were always immaculate, but what made our stay memorable was the site owner. Nothing was too much trouble and he couldn't have been more helpful if he tried. Thank you for a fantastic stay :)

Fantastic little campsite, pitches really spacious, showers/loos and washing area all lovely and clean. Elvis the pig and the two friendly sheep were so cute, just in the field by our van. Bought some delicious farm eggs from the honesty station, just before we came home.

We stayed over for 2 nights to hike Snowdon! It’s only a 15 min drive to Llanberis which is the route we hiked. Absolutely wonderful campsite and lovely owners. Facilities were very clean and very tended to!

Me and my partner stayed last night for one night before we went to Zip World today. The campsite was beautiful, very clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The toilets and showers are pristine and the staff are in there cleaning them a lot too. The sights were amazing and it was a really chilled night. There is a little walk where you can pass sheep and other animals which is lovely, and there is a chicken coop near the tents. We both can't wait to return, thanks so much for having us :)

We've been using this site for 4 years now. Love it here; super owners and hosts, for whom nothing is too much trouble. You only need to ask and it's done straight away. The views and sunsets from caravan are amazing. So peaceful and relaxing!
