Why you'll love it at Camping at The Swallow Falls Inn
About the site
Nestled in the heart of Gwydyr Forest next to its namesake waterfall on Afon Llugwy, this campsite welcomes families, couples, nature lovers and dog owners. The site is situated within the grounds of The Swallow Falls Inn, a traditional coaching inn offering relaxed dining within Gwydyr Forest, 15 minutes from the picturesque village of Betws-y-coed. Tucked behind the inn and hidden by trees, you'll find a terraced campsite with 30 non-electric grass tent pitches and a handful of basic wooden camping pods, sleeping two. Please note that the camping pods are not en-suite and guests have access to the modern campsite facilities block. To maintain the serenity of the forest surroundings, there's a drop off area for guests to unload their luggage and cars are not permitted on the grass pitches. Guests are well located for exploring Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), hiking Mount Snowdon and even taking trips to Anglesey. Dogs are very welcome for a small extra charge. No campfires, sorry!
