Denmark Farm provides space for camping in a wonderful, wildlife-rich 40-acre nature reserve. The campsite is situated on a gently sloping meadow next to woodland, with no light pollution allowing guests to enjoy the dark skies.
About Denmark Farm Eco Campsite
Campers at Denmark Farm have the unique opportunity to share the peace with red kites circling overhead, hares hiding in the undergrowth, dragonflies darting over ponds, and hedgerows and woods full of birdsong. The campsite accommodates no more than 10 tents and has plenty of eco friendly facilities. To ensure a relaxing stay, all cars are left in the car park and you walk the level 150 metre tarmac path to the camping area, with large barrows to transport your gear. There is also a 12-bed eco lodge for larger groups, with two double and four twin bedrooms set across three spacious interconnecting apartments (sleeping 2, 4 and 6 respectively). Various hides and seating areas can be found around the 40 acre site for you to enjoy the tranquillity and nature of Denmark Farm.
Camping is available from April until October, while the Eco Lodge is available all year round.

3) Cancellations - If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the booking we will refund your fee less an Administration Charge of £20. If you cancel within 4 weeks of your booking your fee is not refundable unless we have a replacement booking for the same date(s) or exceptional circumstances apply. We reserve the right to decide whether the latter applies.
4) Access - All campsite arrivals must be before 7pm (unless arranged in advance) to avoid disturbance to other guests and residents. Tents and other personal equipment must be removed from the campsite by midday but you are welcome to enjoy the nature trails for the rest of the day. We will send you a site location map, the toilet/shower block door code and other details on confirmation of your full payment.
5) Parking - We encourage visitors to lift-share where possible. If your group arrives in a large number of vehicles, please delegate one person to be responsible to supervise parking. All vehicles must be parked on the yard, and NOT on the road outside Denmark Farm. Remember, there are other users of the car park, which is not exclusively for campsite users.
6) Fire Precautions - Please make your group aware of fire notices, fire exits and the location of fire extinguishers etc. The assembly point is in the car park.

8) Dogs - are allowed on the trails on leads but not the campsite unless they are Guide Dogs or accompany a Sole Occupancy group (by advance arrangement). For the wellbeing of other visitors, owners must clear up after their dogs.
9) Sustainability - Please recycle where possible. Appropriate receptacles and guide notes are provided for this. Please ensure lights are not left on when not required, or taps left running.
10) Firewood/Fires - Open fires are not permitted outdoors, except for groups hiring the 'Firewok' (one bag charcoal supplied). Please note that wood may not be taken from anywhere on Denmark Farm to use on fires, as it is either left for wildlife or seasoning for our future use in the Centre. Please leave undisturbed, thank you.
11) Cleaning - Please leave all facilities clean & tidy or additional charges may be incurred.
13) Smoking - No smoking is allowed in the camp kitchen or in and around the buildings. Please smoke away from doorways & pick up butts - a cigarette butt receptacle is located in the car park.
