About the site

Owner-managed, Leigh and Jane enjoy being able to share the beautiful location with others. As you drive onto the site, you marvel at the site's location, peace, quiet and tranquility! It's as if you've been transported to another place. The site offers 20 'roomy' electric hook-ups with a separate area for non electric pitches. Large motorhomes and RVs are welcome, as are trailer tents, and roof tents. Set back from the road, the site is known for being a quiet site. It offers adults the opportunity to relax and do whatever they feel like doing, whether it is to watch the horses, which can be seen grazing nearby, go for a walk in the beautiful Kings Forest, look up and watch the swallows, or just do nothing but relax! In the late summer's afternoon, you might catch a glimpse of one of the many herds of Fallow deer from the forest grazing in the hedge-line, or enjoy a sunset in the huge open sky, great for also watching the stars at night. The self catering properties are all a short walking distance away from the caravan park and everyone has quick and direct access to the King's Forest. Wideham View and Forest View holiday homes are 'child friendly', all others are adults only. Each accommodation has its own parking space outside for one car, and additional parking is available onsite. Duvets and pillows are supplied but guests should bring their own linen and towels as it is not included in the stay, alternatively, you can arrange to hire a linen pack for a small charge. All number of dogs are welcome in the caravan park and must remain on a lead at all times.

Pitches and pods are available between April and October, lodges are available all year round.

A note from the site themselves...

We love living where we live! A mile outside the village of West Stow and opposite the Anglo Saxon Centre, we are found in the stunning Kings Forest. The forest is full of wildlife any time of the year, the summer skies are full the sounds of Swallows and Cuckoos. We are surrounded in Anglo Saxon history, we even have the old Roman road, Icknield Way running across the top field.

We are also known as 'a retreat' many of our guests, they comment on the tranquility and relaxing atmosphere the whole place holds. Arrange a stay at Wideham whether it is on the caravan park or in a holiday home, let Wideham work her 'magic'!
