Return visit to Grandtully

Very pleased to return to welcoming Grandtully. Dedicated and helpful staff. A super clean site with modern facilities and spacious pitches.

A great site for singles, families or groups.

Nice quiet location. Brand new nicely designed and spotless toilet/shower etc. blocks. Clean level gravel parking area. Trolleys to help move gear to your pitch. Friendly helpful staff. Pub and a hotel for food and drinks both 5 mins walk away. Various water sport skills courses on river nearby but not immediately adjacent to site.

Weekend stay with family

Everything was good. Campsite and facilities were clean. Area was quiet. Few nice walks and proximity to National Cycle Route 7.

Lovely site, great facilities

Arrived by motorbike, directed to pitch by a very friendly staff member. Pitch well marked out and ground flat and good for pegs. Toilet block fantastically clean.

Fabulous site - can’t wait to return

Fabulous site - immaculate facilities and really thoughtfully laid out. We can’t wait to return to explore the area more thoroughly. Inn at the Tay really good for food and atmosphere too, and a stone’s throw away.

Lovely quiet site

Enjoyed two nights at this lovely quiet site. Facilities were very clean. Booking system worked well, and information sent out beforehand was very clear. Great location.

A grand site

A little gem of a site. It's not big or fancy, which is part of its attraction, but it has everything you really need. The layout means that you can't have your car next to your tent, but this isn't a real issue. On the plus side, the facilities have newly been built and are of a very high standard. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful. All in all, it's highly recommended.

Really friendly welcome at a nicely laid out site with super clean and modern facilities.

Lovely site

Lovely basic site, handy for village and nice walks nearby. Toilets and showers adequate but would prefer male and female toilets rather than unisex. One complaint, 6 amps is not enough to power basic cooking instruments. If you could up them to 10 or 16, it would be much better.

Great campsite

Lovely little site, great location. Good value for money and facilities were spotless. Site was nice and quiet and staff were lovely. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Dissatisfied by low power and outlook

Good location, nice staff & facilities immaculate. However, very disappointed by the view, or should I say, lack of it. Really just felt that I was in a car park with toilet and shower. The low power on offer an absolute issue for sure, tripped several times and would not even run a purpose bought tent heater.

Excellent small site to our needs, staff friendly and helpful.

Hidden gem

We booked last minute, the host was very accommodating, pitch had plenty of space around it, had a play area to keep my children entertained just a short walk away, facilities were immaculate and host was friendly and helpful. The site is modern and well kept. Surroundings are beautiful. Shops, fuelling stations and pub close by, short drive from Aberfeldy.

Lovely quiet site with great facilities and location

First time visit and an absolute joy! The work that has taken place at this site to modernise it has produced an excellent result! Moho pitches are great, the facilities are super and the team very helpful and welcoming. I have one request and that is to put up some hooks in the washrooms so you can hang a coat/towel/washbag etc, that would be helpful. Also maybe a hand dryer or two?

Would definitely stay again

Security gate entrance and exit. Quiet, clean site, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. We were in a campervan My only criticism is the layout of new shower block. Nowhere to set shampoo/shower gel except for the floor and a little drying area would have been good. Most sites have a little bench/seat where you can sit to dry and dress. Hopefully constructive criticism, as a guy was saying it was only open 4 weeks and it is lovely.

Amazing personalised service from start to finish

What an absolute find this site was for us, and started our 4 day cold water dipping tour off with a bang. Whilst we took a wrong turning initially, we were greeted by an excellent member of the team who was so friendly and informative it assured us that we had not only made the right choice to booked but exceeded our expectations. We were guided to park our van in a secluded spot and care was taken to make sure we were happy with it. Subject to a high level of investment, the shower areas were exceptional and close to our allocated parking spot. As 3 female travellers, safety was really important to us. Access to the river was really easy and a lovely walk there. We were provided with safety advice before going there that once again was over and above our levels of expectation. Even had a wee visit from a gorgeous horse. Would definitely recommend.

Well worth a vist

It was a great campsite, nice and quiet, and a great base to visit Kenmore, Aberfeldy, Pitlochry, Kilicrankie and Blair Athol - will definitely go back soon.

Single night stay

I booked a bit last minute whilst I was on a cycling holiday not knowing where I'd end up each day. The booking process was easy. My booking was confirmed within approximately an hour. The price was what I was happy to pay. I received plenty of communication about the site and the number of my pitch. I arrived and set up my tent. I also did some washing (in the sinks). The toilet/shower block was spotlessly clean. There were staff on site for the next few hours. After visiting the site I felt that the £15 I paid for my 2 man tent and the facilities on offer were great value for money.

Excellent site

Two thumbs up for this site. Well placed for Aberfeldy, Pitlochry and surrounding areas. Smallish site with electric hook-ups. Service building on two levels to accommodate those on lower and upper pitches. Facilities building seemed fairly new and that's where I have dropped a star - both my partner and I were puzzled at the lack of hand drying facilities (either in the cubicle where there's a handwash basin, or out in the main area where there are a couple more wash hand basins. Shower cubicles were good however the area within them to get dried was pretty compact with no stool or bench to lay clothes, towels or toilet bag, only hooks. Not everyone has the balance of a Stork to be able to dry their feet and it would be really beneficial to have at least a fold down seat. These were our only niggles with this site but will happily return.

Thank you for your detailed review. I am sorry about the lack of hand drying facilities. Sadly we do currently have lovely fancy hand dryers languishing in our store cupboard poised to be installed, but unfortunately, our electrician has been off work for some weeks now and we have struggled to find another to do the work. We are hoping to have these finally installed this week. I do welcome your comments regarding the lack of benches in cubicles. We are looking at some kind of fold out apparatus as the space is quite limited so thanks very much for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon.
