A note from the site themselves...
We were over the moon to receive "Winners of the Tested by Tots Best Campsite award for 2022" as that year was just our second season.
We set out to provide a great holiday destination for families and for those who enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, golfing, canoeing and exploring our beautiful towns and villages.
A review we particularly appreciated included "We would highly recommend Haywood farm campsite! We stayed with our 3 boys who are 11, 7 and 6. Within 30 minutes of being there my 7-year-old said, 'this is the best place ever. It's like kid heaven, so many fun things to do!'
We look forward to welcoming you to our family-run site here at Haywood Farm. We are so lucky to have such a spacious and scenic setting in a location that is close to many attractions and in a beautiful part of the country. We know just how lucky we are and therefore we welcome everyone from families and friends to couples, individuals, and pets

Camping in the summer holidays can be a bit of a nightmare with sites over filled and facilities stretched beyond their capacity. But I can't say this of Haywood - very relaxing, chilled out site, wouldn't have guessed it was peak summer.
Showers were fantastic, could do with a few more toilets perhaps at the other end of the site, but since it's not a large site, it's not problematic. The site is surrounded by trees with direct access to woodland, very minimal background traffic noise. We have a large 6 man tent and filled the pitch, but the way the site is laid out means you don't feel on top of people too much. Games room was a saviour in the wet!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Gravel PitchesMar 2024
Beautiful campsite that provided a lovely time, despite the wet weather in March!
Staff were very friendly and facilities were kept clean and presentable. We also enjoyed the stone baked pizzas on the second night. The well equipped games room was great for kids, with air hockey, table tennis and table football. The foam mat area was perfect for our toddler and crawler to explore, with play kitchen, ball run and Wendy house. Outdoor play area was also great but a bit too wet for us to enjoy this time of year.
Would like to return when the kids are older.
