Things to do in Newbury
Few towns tell their story as well as Newbury, where you'll find the Newbury Timeline Mosiac. Across the mosaic's 12 plates you can dawdle through the town's history over the last 1,000 years.
The West Berkshire Museum houses extensive art collections under the roof of an attractive historic building, while the St John the Evangelist Church was constructed using over 3.5 million handmade red bricks.
The Corn Exchange is the events hub of the town and puts on a range of theatrical, musical and artistic performances and exhibitions all year long. If you love the feel of the turf, make your way to the racecourse for a great day out.
