Located just a few minutes walk from the Fife Coastal Path, Silverburn Park Campsite is a peaceful site near Leven Beach. A family and dog friendly site, there are grass pitches on offer, including some with electric hook up, and three heated eco-pods. Start the day with breakfast at the onsite cafe, with days out at Fife's fishing villages and the ancient burghs of St. Andrews and Falkland, all within a 30 minute drive!

Had everything I needed, reception knew to expect me. Very clean and extras included a walled garden. All facilities catered for and nice walks to the beach, which was handy.

Great small site. Got to know neighbours and had a laugh with them. Only thing that spoiled it a little bit was people arguing in the car park for ages which kept us up a little bit, but overall, we loved it and will be back next time we are in the area as a definite. Thanks again.

Had exactly everything we needed, busy but peaceful. Beautiful setting, in between woodlands and the sea, magnificent Redwoods😎😀

I was dismayed that I had to carry my camping gear (although it was only a one man tent) almost 80 meters, as cars are not allowed on the campsite, even to unload. I don't know how people with large tents and kids would manage. The car then had to be parked even further away. The amenities were excellent however, and very clean. The staff are also very helpful.

Stayed in the pod for one night. Very clean and so reassuring that there is someone close by to help with any issues - thanks!

Really need more lights in the motorhome area, as it was very poor going to the toilet at night, can't see a thing so can be scary. Also, more toilets are needed as they only have 3 - would not come in the summer. The good thing about this site was the beach and forest walks.
Site's response
Thanks for your review we will take it on board, previous feedback about lights within the motorhome area told us most prefer less intrusive lighting at night. We have solar lighting around the flax mill to help get to the toilets and advise guests to bring a torch when they stay. There are also an additional 3 toilets to the rear of the shower blocks, so 6 in total, there will be additional toilet facilities in the campervan area in the future. We're glad you enjoyed the surrounding walks!

Loved it, although we had to take our awning down because it was windy, but that's to be expected in November. Great beach a short walk away.
Site's response
Great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us Lynne - sorry to hear about the awning :( We'll hope to see you again in the future.
Can't wait to go back!

Site is lovely, the beach is near to hand and the bus routes are good. There are a small number of toilets/showers which in the Summer might be difficult but not for us in November.
Great place with friendly staff

Had a great stay. It's a lovely place, nice clean new facilities. We were lucky enough with the weather to use a fire pit one night and toast marshmallows, lovely! Great walks and things for the kids to explore in the grounds, we will definitely come back. I did wish there had been a plug to use at the washing station though as it made doing the dishes tricky as to get hot water you need to constantly hold the tap down.
Excellent well-appointed campsite

Excellent location, gorgeous facilities - a complete gem! What a gorgeous campsite. Love the community project to turn the old flax mill into a hostel in the future, can't wait to return! A beautiful trail through the redwoods and around the walled garden and a nice walk via a golf course directly onto the beach! The shower and toilet block were amazing and we loved the idea of the communal fire pit. We arrived on Thursday and the park was empty. On Friday night it was full and there was some noise from kids in the tents and the eco pods having a group of girls celebrating a birthday (to be expected I guess) and all settled down at midnight! Worth the stay 100% and definitely planning another trip!

Excellent campsite in lovely setting between pretty walled garden and long sandy beach. Perfect location for Fife Coastal Path. Would have liked to try the cafe but it was only open 11-3 and there were long queues.
Site's response
Thanks for your review Angela, it's great to hear you enjoyed the campsite. We hear you about the cafe - it has become very popular! We are currently looking into options for expanding the café premises and extending opening hours so this will hopefully be better for next time you visit!
Loved it!

Spent a very happy five nights here. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Pitches are a little narrow and close together but not a problem. Views of the golf course and the sea and a lovely beach just a few minutes away.

Delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, Martin. Hopefully see you another time in the future!

Lovely campsite but for having 12 pitches and 3 pods - I felt 3 toilet/showers just isn't enough for the size of campsite.
Site's response
Thanks for your review Emma. Sorry you felt there weren't enough showers or toilets. I assume you also found the other two toilets in the green block - there are actually five in total.

First time camping in years and a great start to revitalise getting out and about again. The campsite is immaculate, very well maintained and Pam gave a great introduction to the site and facilities. Plenty of space was given for our pitch and the toilets/showers were very clean. Hope to return soon.

Arrived for 2 days whilst visiting St Andrews for The Open. Staff were very friendly on arrival. Location is fantastic with brilliant views over the golf courses and the coast. Facilities were spot on, very clean with additional cleaning materials and even sanitary items. Will 100% be visiting again on a golfing trip and recommending it to family and friends.

Lovely campsite and great location. 5 minute walk to beach. Toilets clean, good pressure and temperature on water for showers. Kids loved the walled garden and looking for all the rabbits and squirrels. We didn't visit the window café, but hot drinks were reasonably priced.
