This place is amazing. Tina came to welcome us. Inside was immaculate and had everything you could need to make your stay wonderful. We had an amazing time. The views were great and it was very quiet. I will definitely be coming again next year. Thank you to the owners.

Very clean, furnished beautifully with everything well thought out, parking right by the hut. Nice and quiet, met the owner too and he was very welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Loved my stay, I've recommended it to family and now my Mum and Aunt have booked it too for separate stays. My only negative would be the sign to the lane is too small to see, I drove past it several times. Happy to come back again!

My partner and I wanted a relaxing night away without the children. I was searching high and low for somewhere that offered just 1 night, as childcare for more than 1 night can be rather tricky. The surrounding garden and entrance leading to the Shepards Hut is so beautifully kept and so inviting. It was a nice touch to see a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge and tea & coffee supplies. It was such a comfortable relaxing stay and just what we needed.

Lovely, cosy, comfy, warm & relaxing accommodation in a very peaceful location with stunning views - set in its own garden. Gabriel's Rest would suit anyone wishing to have a relaxing break - a place to unwind. Hosts went above & beyond to make our stay very special. We will return!

Our first stay in a Shepherd's hut did not disappoint. Beautifully and tastefully appointed, warm and cosy. All you needed for breakfast was on hand. Upon arrival, the welcome of a lit wood stove and warm homemade bread rolls added to the delight. John and Tina have excelled. We would return in a heartbeat, Gabriel's Rest is a must.
