We stayed here for 5 nights in November. The site had good, clean facilities. We stayed here during storm Bert and the owner kindly gave us a pitch that took the up coming storm into consideration. It was a very peaceful site although it was out of season, but the pitches were set up so that you weren't encroaching on your neighbour. Lots to do in the local area.

Excellent location for visiting local beaches and NT properties. A quiet and well organised site, with level pitches and various pitch service levels. Had a lovely children's play area.

In the heart of the Cornish countryside a well kept, well serviced and beautifully quiet campsite. Great place to stay, with a 1 hour cross country walk to Looe. Tight country roads on the last 800m of the final drive in, but you expect that! Only minor issues - low water pressure in the toilets (multiple flushes) and little overhead cover in the dish wash area if it is raining. Staff were accessible, friendly and happy to help. The individual plots were each of a good size with hedge divides between them. Being on a relatively small site, this added to the sense of space and tranquillity. Overall, very good and would definitely stay again.

What a gem! We’ve spent many years doing campsites in our beloved Cornwall and this is definitely one on the revisit list. Friendly staff, well maintained, grass kept cut, spotlessly clean - we loved it. An added bonus was the shared knowledge of local walks and the site shop that stocks essentials. Chilled time with a good vibe.

Lovely camp site, it was as described, would recommend as an ideal location to get around to sitesee. Facilities are basic so good value for money, our thoughts are it would make an amazing site for adults only, would go back so all good. 👍

Was given a courtesy call about our arrival which was nice. Arrival on site was easy, its a little tight and windy to get to and hard to pass others when your towing. The grounds were well-looked after. The owners are cutting grass and caring for the site daily. They had plenty of bins for rubbish and recycling. They had decent, clean toilets and sinks. The showers are to the back of the toilets. My only grumble about that is there are no family shower rooms that I was aware of, and the shower rooms are too small to be able to shower and change without getting everything wet. Nowhere to dress or change little ones, so had to dry and change by the hairdryers, so I would like to suggest if there isn't one already, a family room with changing facilities would be amazing. I also like to say, sadly the laundry facilities are expensive. The washer is 12kg and £4.80 a wash, that's no too bad, but the drier was £1 for 10 minutes. I put £5 in the drier and it didn't dry. My husband went and spoke to maintenance and they gave us a free go on the drier. Was told we had too much in the drier but even the maintenance guy was wondering himself if the drier was working as it is quite an old unit. So maybe up the time allowance for the drier for the price it's costing to run it. The light didn't work in the room so had to use my torch to see. The park for the kids is pretty basic. It's got a slide and a climbing frame but no swings. There is room for swings so maybe a suggestion to have some put in would be great. Apart from this, it was lovely and quiet, everyone respected each other and night time was peaceful and quiet. They have a little onsite shop for basics and was well-stocked. The whole stay was really good and the site was great with polite kind staff. We would love to visit again 😊

Nice camping site, air-conditioned sanitary building. We found them for "Holland standards" not too clean. Otherwise, quiet and neat place to stay. Very warm welcome at the reception. If you are traveling with teenagers, there is not much they will thank you for. Please note; the road towards the camping is one for the experienced drivers.😁
Site's response
I can only apologise to Erwin for the toilet block being below standard. We have always prided ourselves on clean facilities, unfortunately we didn`t meet the standard on this occasion. We have since resolved the staffing issue. I do hope that Erwin enjoyed the rest of the holiday.

Very clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful. Just a shame some of the visitors didn't abide by the recycling code and chucked everything in the general waste. If you're not sure, then ask like I did.

Myself and hubby had a really enjoyable, quiet and relaxing stay in our touring caravan with our two dogs. The owners were very welcoming on arrival and continued to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A very clean and well presented site with immaculate showers/toilets and washing up facilities. The shop had all the basics that is needed, like bread and milk etc, and there was a small fenced area for the dogs to be off lead. We will definitely be returning to this site and will recommend to others.

Wonderful, peaceful site. No road noise, just birds singing. Facilities were very good and always clean. The wardens and owners very welcoming and helpful. The only negative was the lane leading to the site was narrow 😆

Although we only stayed for a short time, the welcome was warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean and comprehensive, and the site manager couldn't have done more to help. Next time we might stay for longer.

Rob sent us detailed instructions on how to find our pitch and called us to check we were all set. Lovely little site, we only stayed one night but the facilities were perfect for us. Toilets were clean and well-appointed, showers were warm! Would stop here again if we were breaking up our drive into Cornwall!

Small, well-maintained site with great warm facilities for winter. They changed our pitch to protect us from the high winds, much appreciated. Lovely hot water, everything immaculate. Thanks!

We had a lovely stay here - it was our first time so didn't know what to expect. Showers were hot and the facilities were clean. Very quiet but we were out of season so maybe different in the summer! Only downsides for us was the fact you had to pay an additional fee for electric and there was no drive over area to dump grey water. We felt the price was quite steep too but having looked at other sites, it seems it's the going rate.
