The site was excellent, the location was great. Fabulous facilities and standard of service was good. The local village was lovely. Could do with a little spar shop for last minute things as the on-site shop was limited. Handy information regarding local walks would have been good. Found the main road very busy. Definitely visit again

What an amazing stay. The site is big and very spacious. The facilities are great and always kept clean. There is a pub on site but unfortunately, it wasn't open when we were there. Would I recommend? Yes I would and we are definitely going back soon. Oh yes, if you do go, have a walk around and read about the place. It's very fascinating to read about all the buildings on site as it was a hospital in the past.

We booked a walkers cabin with the family, and it was really good. The site has everything you could need, plus a shop, a bar and pizza oven open on certain days. It's a winner for us. Thanks to the Dalesbridge staff.

This was my first time camping alone without my family and I loved it. The site was large with a bar, clean showers and toilets. There were lots of pot washing sinks dotted all around and an option to have fresh pizza made. There is a shop on site (which is perfect when you don't bring enough firewood) that sells all your essentials as well as freshly baked pastries in the morning. It's a perfect spot to climb the three peaks, we did Ingleton. The only downside is that the site is situated right next to the road, which made it difficult to walk to Settle, Clapham and Austwick as none of us had a car. I presume most people booking this site will have a mode of transport which is definitely necessary to get to villages and towns. I went with my partner and another couple - the site was perfect for our needs, but there were many families and DofE students staying there too.

We stayed in a pod for two nights and it was fantastic. The location was ideal for days out to nearby villages and sights. The on-site pub and pizza were also great to have.

Met with friendly reception. Easy to pitch up. We stayed on the walled side by the road. Some traffic noise very early on the Friday morning but hardly any traffic Saturday and Sunday morning. That is the only gripe of the whole trip. Brand new toilet facilities with showers near the main reception. Small bar with board games, outdoor seating and pizza. We didn't order pizza as it was all sold out but we made our own and grilled them on BBQ. Flat pitta, tinned pizza sauce, cheese and toppings with a large metal bowl on top. Fire and BBQ off the floor. Easy to do. Small shop had a few bits and logs if you needed extra. Campsite was easy to navigate, loads of walks nearby, better shop in Clapham village couple km walk. The local pub called "Game Cock" is good for an evening walk and pint. The Taddock was super smart, lovely and idyllic. Afternoon tea available too. Ingelton waterfall walk is well worth it. Breakfast butty before was also well worth it. But get take out as it's an extra Β£4 each to sit in. Also worth a visit to the show cave in Clapham. Β£16 entry per adult about 2km walk to entrance then 1km deep and walk along the pond private estate.

Lovely site well kept and spotless. My only comment would be the grey and chemical disposal were a long way from the main field. A motorhome service point would be a big advantage.
Counting the days to be back!!!

We stayed here as 3 families with young children. Great site and facilities and cracking pizzas on the Saturday night. A good location for the 3 peaks.

Superb, clean facilities. Nice bar. Friendly staff. Lots of different groups on when we were there but all well behaved. Pizzas are excellent. Glamping type accommodation looked lovely but we'll never ditch canvas!! Owner is helpful and informative (I think he was called Rod). Felt sorry for him though.... He's a Huddersfield Town fan! π. We climbed Pen y Ghent, seems like a decent base for Yorkshire three peaks and exploring Ribblesdale. White Scar Cave is worth a visit with the kids ππ

We bloody loved it! Well kept camp, showers & toilets clean and in a great location. So much to do round there. We did the ingleton waterfalls trail one day which is 12 mins away & then malham cove the next day which is 35 minutes away. The village of settle is lovely too. We will be back!
Loved it, will definitely come back

Nice, tidy campsite in the countryside with clean toilets and showers. We came after Jubilee weekend so had the place to ourselves and enjoyed loads of space! We ended up booking an extra night and will definitely be back.

Apart from no shop on site, it was a great location, however I believe that point is being sorted as we speak.

We have been coming to The Dalesbridge for years and the site keeps improving! We stayed in the Walkers Cabin this time and they have a new kitchen, bathrooms and seating. Best sleep I've had on that mattress! The site has also built a new shower block which has heating and hand driers and fab showers. We also managed to book their popular pizza this time and they were delicious, and we sat in front of log burner :-) Great views and bar.

Our 3rd time now at The Dalesbridge and another excellent weekend had by all (2A & 2C). The site itself has a great mixture of tents, walker cabins and glamping pods and is right on the doorstep for anything you wish to see/do in the Yorkshire Dales. An onsite bar and homemade pizzas are a definite plus for the site as you relax from your days adventure. Moretti on draft woohoo. Ross (the owner I think) is never far away on site and is always checking to see that your stay and facilities are all ok. Good to see him also gather all the kids together for a big game of footy one evening π. Plenty of shower units and washing up sinks so all good there also. Won't be too long until we're blessing The Dalesbridge again, hopefully this summer.
An excellent site

I have stayed here before in the Lodge and the Walkers Cabins and stayed in a pod this time. The kids loved it, the facilities are all up to a good standard and the bar was open for the football which made for a lovely Saturday afternoon. Strongly recommend.

Had a lovely weekend away with the family camping. The kids loved it and the location is beautiful. The campsite owner Rod recommended some lovely walks and places to eat. We also visited the onsite bar which is really nice.
