About Riddings Wood Holiday Park
Enjoy a relaxing holiday at Riddings Wood, set 11 acres of tranquil woodland and nestled in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. The park has both hardstanding and fully serviced touring pitches. All pitches offer a grass area for awnings and 16 amp electric hook-up points. The camping fields are situated close to the amenities and accommodate tents with access electric hook-up points. All sizes of tents are accommodated here, from small two-man tents to large family tents. Each camping pitch can accommodate up to 6 people, if your party or tent size is larger than 6 you may be required to book an additional pitch. The tent pitches are spaced between the bottom field, closest to the children's play area and in the top field. For a touch of luxury, there's also the option to relax in one of the two types of lodges on site, all with private hot tubs. There are six standard lodges, which can accommodate up to four people. They include a double bed, large sofa bed, full double glazing and radiators for heating. You'll also find a microwave, oven, kettle, fridge and freezer inside. Linen and towels are provided, as well as basic essentials like tea, coffee, milk and sugar. You'll also have access to a communal BBQ area with a fire pit. Or why not try one of the premium luxury lodges, sleeping six and each with its own hot tub, fully fitted kitchen and large washroom with separate shower cubicle. The kitchen includes an integrated microwave, oven, grill, gas hobs and a fridge. Upstairs you'll find a mezzanine space with double bed. There's also a large living area with a sofa bed and a dining area that turns into a further double bed. Linen, bedding and towels are all included, as well as basic essentials like tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The park can also cater for caravan rallies from March until Easter and late September to 31st December. Dogs are allowed on camping and touring pitches and in the Oak lodge.

Site rules and policies
Full terms and conditions and rules are available from our website or upon request. All bookings are subject to both our park rules and booking terms and conditions.
All lodges must be vacated by 11am.
All lodge arrivals must be after 2pm.
Camping and touring pitches are available from 11:30am on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and please clean up any fouling.
Noise nuisance, loud music and offensive language will not be tolerated.
The speed limit on the park is 5 mph.
No parking on the roadways.
No motorbikes or quad bikes are permitted on the park.
The pitch must be kept tidy, please deposit all rubbish and recycling in the bins provided.
Open camp fires are allowed as long as there in a fire pit or a basket.
Children should be supervised at all times.

Derbyshire and surrounding areas offer visitors to Riddings Wood a whole range of fun activities and family days out. From cycling and walking in the Peak District to visiting historical attractions or sampling the local food and drink on offer in one of the area's many tea rooms, family pubs and restaurants, there's so much to enjoy.
Take in the breath-taking views of the Peak District National Park, admire the splendour of Chatsworth House and Gardens, enjoy a ride on the Crich Tramway or for a family day out visit Gulliver's Kingdom at Matlock Bath where there are rides and attractions.
Local pubs are just a short walk away in Riddings, such as the Moulders Arms, aka The Thack, the only thatched roof pub in Derbyshire. Just across the road is The Seven Stars, a rural community pub where you can relax and get to know the locals.
For a more urban day out, enjoy quick and easy access to Derby, Nottingham and Mansfield, just short drives away.
