Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

This is a lovely, quiet, site with a lovely large exercise field for dogs to have a really good run. Lovely to see the mixture of farm animals that all come over to say hello.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

A lovely, peaceful, adults only site. Helpfully, Tony the warden helped us to position our caravan as the ground was a bit soft due to all the rain this year. The covered outdoor washing up sinks were clean and the water hot, as were the showers. 3 inside both the ladies and mens in the main toilet block, with some more unisex ones in another wooden block. A laundry room was also on site. There are some animals at the bottom of the site, which were a pleasure to look at, and although noisy when up close, I didn't notice any noise from our pitch. The whole site was just so lovely and quiet. Pevensey beach is a short walk away with Eastbourne, Hastings, Rye etc all accessible.

Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

Lovely site. Enjoyed the farm trail walk and was great to have the large dog exercise field on site particularly as we had our spaniel with us and she loved freedom for sniffing. We had to nickname our dinette window as 'rabbit tv' as our spaniel was glued to it, watching rabbits so close. The toilets/showers were clean and water lovely and hot. The site was pleasant to just sit and chill at, listening to all the farm birds, particularly the peacocks, but also had pleasant local walks to castle and for those who are more ambitious, to the sea. Easy access to Sovereign Harbour and Eastbourne by car, bus or even walk with plenty of food/entertainment choice. Site had small shop at reception but wasn't open much although wardens were easily reachable for the access of our visiting friends/family (small charge).

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesApr 2024

Great little site. The joy is the location as it is a 5 mins walk to the rail station where you can explore the coastal resorts without needing to drive! The warden was super helpful and friendly. Adults only. Quiet and plenty of space during my stay in April. There is a great walk on the site around the fishing lake, where you can enjoy the animals. Cockerels, hens, peacocks, peahens and turkeys all pecking and bobbing along together. The pygmy goats are adorable. There are 3 local pubs within walking distance. The closest has got new owners and seemed well-loved by the locals.
