Lovely campsite with amazing views! Incredible value for money with toilets and outdoor sinks maintained very well and super clean. No showers, but that's well stated in the description. Lovely pub and small restaurant down the hill with excellent walks and views.

This is a magnificent, back to basics site (field). Located above Beesands coastline, stunning outlook, ten minute walk to coastline & Cricket Inn, or Britannia On The Beach, perfect for couples, backpackers. Access is through some single track road, so oversized units could struggle, pretty much like a lot of the remote sites in Devon. Will definitely stay again in the future.

This quaint campsite was exactly what we were looking for on our little backpacking adventure. The plots are well spaced out. The facilities clean and although close to a road, it fell silent around 10pm. The daytime views were amazing and the night-time sky was even more amazing. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend if you are looking for a similar experience to wild camping, but the security and toilet facilities of a campsite.
Great site, amazing views and location with plenty of walks

Great site, it is basic but is advertised that way, perfect for us. Stunning views, lovely walks. Beach is 10-15 minute walk, beach cabin selling local fish and snacks. The Cricket Inn for food and drink. Will definitely be back.

Great campsite, lovely and quiet, clean toilets. No shower but managed ok, walk down to beach was nice with lovely views, although you have to take it easy coming back up. Spacious pitches were great and everyone friendly. There is a nice pub and several places to eat on the beach area, the pebbles on the beach are beautiful if you look carefully.

Had a great bank holiday weekend here with friends, has all the basics you need for a weekend stay. Pitch was spacious and tidy, very nice location, and great to have an affordable campsite alternative to many of the large commercial places, when all we needed was the basics.
Lovely campsite!

Great value for money. Lovely location with a walk down to the sea and local pub /fish and chips. Only downside, and this is being picky, is we felt the toilets are a bit outdated. Definitely recommend!

Stayed for one night. Campsite was basic with just a toilet block, but that's all we needed. The site location was perfect. We had a little pup with us so the walk down to the local pub/beach was perfect. Views were lovely and the fellow campers were all friendly. Fab recycling point and clean toilets. For the price, it was what we expected, check in yourself and be left alone which is exactly what we were hoping for!

It is a campsite with honesty box, not many facilities really, just a toilet. The location is fantastic though, you can listen to the waves and the village is a 7 minute walk only.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Park. It's a small, low-key campsite that is a great base form some stunning local beaches. The toilets are cleaned daily and we did not miss having a shower (in fact, it was a good experience for our city kids!). Top tip: do try out the self-serve milkshakes at Coleridge Dairy (follow the signs). We loved that we were able to barbecue on-site as this is not always possible! All our children (aged 5,7,9,11, 13) are keen to come back! Also, great value for money!

A diversion was in place, which made the approach more of a challenge due to traffic. The cold drinking water tap was in a good position. Toilets were clean, as was wash up area. Suitable for adults who want to chill and read. Approach to site didn't encourage day trips out, hence our early departure.
Great place for relaxing stay

Totally overwhelming view from the campsite. It is small and very quiet place. It's clean and drinking water is accessible in a few spots. Approx 10 mins to the beach. Nice good in nearby restaurant. Definitely for relaxing stay without noisy, running around children. We'll come back for sure!

Very basic site with 2 clean toilets and wash hand basins with cold water but nothing else. The site is on a slope so need to use wedges. The view of the beach is amazing. Just a short 10 minute walk to the beach with a very steep climb back.

Could not have wished for a better campsite for our first time camping as a family. Everything we were looking for - quiet, stunning views day and night (star gazing is brilliant), and tidy and clean facilities. Would have been great if they could squeeze in possibly 2 shower cubicles on site. We didn't want to leave as we enjoyed everything about it and are looking to book again next year.

Lovely little site just the way I like it, simple but with everything you want. Clean, quiet and peaceful. Only took 3/4 hour as pretty local to me, but why go further when you have everything you need here.

Lovely little campsite, limited facilities but what is there is well kept and clean. Lovely views and 10 mins to beautiful clear sea. Hill walk to beach. Narrow lanes on approach to campsite for around 8 miles. Will come back!

Beautiful view of the lake and sea/coast, fresh air and a breeze - what else is needed. Bird watching, boats, yachts, ferries, container vessels, all via a good pair of binoculars. We never used our vehicle for the 5 days, reasonable walks in every direction, something different every day, short walk to Beesands for refreshments. Bliss! We also found the 'hide' for the lake and used that facilty also to watch the birds.Windy when arrived, so tucked our selves agains the hedge or we would have lost the tent! There was no problem with that for the owner.
