Fantastic holiday

The staff on site were very helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower block was clean and had everything we needed. Cannot fault the site. Would definitely recommend this site to family and friends. Thank you so much for a great holiday.

Great campsite, lovely family place, lots to do and dog friendly

Lots to do on this campsite, but we still didn't use everything. Loved the fishing lake. All the people who worked there were really friendly and helpful. Pitches were really nice. Loved the music night up on the lawn, that was lovely. Really lovely atmosphere. Will definitely come back here again. Also there is a hire shop where you can hire anything for the time you are there, which was really handy. We used it to hire body boards to go down to the local beach.

Family holiday

Considering the size of the campsite, the cleanliness was really impressive. Showers and toilets were immaculate what ever time of day you went in them. Always hot water available. Great to have food vans and drinks vans each day - the best chicken kebab I have ever tasted. Lattes from the vans were incredible. Only thing that will stop me returning is the cost. Unfortunately, it's not feasible for us to pay this amount again.

Not worth 5 stars

We booked a supreme pitch purposely for the reason of having electric, water, waste water drain, and a TV aerial to hand. Due to the position of these facilities on our pitch, none of our equipment would reach. 10 metre water pipe and a 10 metre waste pipe wouldn't reach to the drain or tap. and neither did our 10 metre tv aerial. Looking at the pitch, the caravan on the right could be close to the facilities but being on the left with an awning, the caravan was too far away from the facilities for anything to reach. We have 4 young children and normally use the family wash facilities but when my wife asked if you had and family wash room the answer was yes, but you have to pay, which we found ridiculous, so we had to split the family and do separate showers in a single shower cubicle which was a struggle with young children. Some of the shower heads where broken and locks were broken on the doors. The Wi-Fi on the site was non-existent and due to running a building company and needing to use my phone on a regular basis to receive calls and emails, I wasn't able to do it. We were very disappointed with the facilities for the money it cost for the pitch.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review our site. I am sorry to hear that you could not access the facilities on your pitch, I will pass this onto our maintenance team. We have our toilet blocks available for everyone on site free of charge. We do have our family bathroom facilities which allow families with children more space and privacy to be able to have a shower/bath. These do cost an additional fee to ensure that only people with a key can use them. Our Wi-Fi is provided free of charge for our guests , but we do not guarantee the speed or availability. It is something we are looking into upgrading. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

We found no mobile signal or Wi-Fi, otherwise good

No signal and when connecting to Wi-Fi in the area by the bar, it's so slow and unusable. Walk to the beach is 30+mins. Very happy with everything else!

I am sorry that you could not use the internet during your stay, due to the location of the site we are in a bit of a signal dead-spot, which can make it hard to access the internet. We do have free Wi-Fi on-site for our guests, however, we do not guarantee the availability or speed of this. We are lucky to be located very close to the beach, however, the time it takes to walk there does vary with each person. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

Great campsite

Excellent facilities, lots to do and really good takeaway food options on site in the evenings (not the cheapest though!).

Lovely relaxed campsite with clean facilities

Excellent location. Well worth the wander through the dunes to Holywell Beach!

Lovely place

My 2 and a 1/2 year old daughter and I stayed here in June and had a lovely time. The site had everything you need very close by, which was handy. I felt very safe and was able to fully relax and enjoy. Will be returning :)

Great caravan park with great facilities

This was our first camping trip in our camper with our three dogs. The site was very family and dog friendly, with much fun being had within our area of the site. The toilets and wash rooms were very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful and the shop was well stocked. We used the hire shop too where we had great service. The dog walking field was very much loved by our pooches but wouldn't recommend walking to the beach unless you're used to walking as it was up steep sand dunes.

Very good

Great location with fabulous dog walking facilities. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities were extremely clean. One issue was that I wanted to extend my stay, but could only do this by moving pitches. It may be that the pitch itself was booked, but I didn't think this was clearly explained and thought they could have tried to be more accommodating. I would go back to this site.

Thank you for your review. Our housekeeping team work very hard to ensure the toilet blocks are kept clean and tidy. I am sorry you were unable to extend your booking on the same pitch. Because we have our 'pick a pitch' service, where guests can pay an extra fee to stay on a specific pitch of their choosing, this does mean your pitch was unavailable. As our guests will have paid for that specific pitch we are unable to move them onto a different pitch. The reception team would have offered you the option to move to a different pitch so that they could accommodate your request to stay for longer. I apologise if this was not communicated to you clearly. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

Excellent value for money

Fantastic site with everything we needed and more. Staff super helpful. Facilities clean and well looked after. Entertainment was great for half term. Pool was warm and clean. Walk to the beach, but a trek through the dunes so wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Just walk the road instead though.

Fun in the sun

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly across the site. It is definitely somewhere we would return to, but maybe at quieter times of the year. Location is perfect for all the beautiful surrounding areas.

Lovely location

Lovely location in Cornwall! Not too far from Newquay & shops! Holywell Bay beach felt like a bit of a trek, but worth it when you get there! Ready tent really good, spacious with everything you need, tent clean when we arrived! However, the showers & toilets left a lot to be desired cleanliness wise. Toilets often didn't flush so waste left in them, sinks blocked with hair, hair in showers & mucky floors. Rude staff also when they're being "cleaned" dog poo over much of the site as well, not much choice in the shop & overpriced. Food truck sold out so had to eat at Woody's as later on in the evening, very expensive for what I felt were microwaved meals! Fat jacks shack was amazing! Pool was nice & good facilities for kids! Very noisy site, we were asked to be quiet after 10pm & weren't being loud at all, yet kids screaming, music still on, shouting & dogs barking well into the early hours! Worth a few days there but couldn't stay longer than that but the location, tent & Fat Jacks were bang on 👍🏼

I am sorry that you had a bad experience with the cleanliness of the toilet block, I know our cleaning team work hard to ensure all the toilet blocks are kept clean and tidy. If you were to report any cleaning or maintenance issues with the toilet blocks to reception, our team would have ensured they were dealt with very quickly. I am sorry that the food truck has sold out, the food trucks are outside companies and we have no control over how much stock they have I am afraid, so when they sell out they will close. I apologise that noise was an issue for you when you were on site, we do have a cut-off at 10pm for excessive noise on site. We do provide all our guests with the security number on their site map as well as the duty manager number, if you had any issues with noise you could have reported it and it would have been dealt with. We hope that we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

Brilliant site

Brilliant site - catered for all ages and our furry friends! First time on this site and couldn't fault it. We're in a touring caravan, the pitches all had good facilities near (i.e. toilet/shower plus washing up facilities) and there was also a shower for dogs. After being on the beach all day, the site was cleaned thoroughly, well done to the cleaners! Husband enjoyed fishing at the lakes. The site is also near the beach and we especially loved the dog walking fields. They've thought of everything - takeaway food, clubhouse, cocktail shack, all too many to mention! Definitely would stay again next year.

Dog friendly with accessible beach

The location is lovely however the distance to Holywell beach is slightly further than you would expect. There is also a fence that you have to climb over to access the sand dunes which, with an elderly dog that isn't much of a jumper, proved to be a bit difficult. The other grumble is the WiFi, there is none. The only place you could access the guest WiFi was in and close to reception. 4G only worked in the middle of the night when everyone else's devices were not being used.

Thank you for your review. We do tell our guests that it depends on your ability on how long it will take you to walk there. It can take some guests longer, but it is worth it once you get to the beach. You can also walk down the footpath that runs alongside the road if it is easier for you. I am sorry you had some issues with the Wi-Fi and signal on the site. Due to the location of the site being in a dip we are in a bit of a signal dead spot. We do offer free Wi-Fi for our guests, however, we cannot guarantee the availability of this. The best places to get the Wi-Fi are in The Courtyard area or in Woody's. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

Great holiday park

Had a fabulous week here camping. Toilet/wash facilities were great and cleaned regularly. The pitch size was great- lots of room for car, tent and outside space. Great swimming pool and crazy golf (other facilities available too) and food options available. We didn't use the clubhouse so can't comment on that. A bit of a trek to the beach, but well worth it. Only thing which would have been better would have been a flatter pitch - it was on a slope and we felt like we were going to roll off the beds.

Fantastic holiday even in the rain

We will book again next year, but now we know the site, will be specific on location to allow easy access to the open space areas for our children. Can't find fault otherwise, best campsite we have stayed at as a family for years.

Lovely family site

Stayed here as a group of 3 families, all pitched near to each other on yellow field. Pitch was perfect, near to all facilities and park for our young children. Toilet block was spotless, facilities were great, presence of staff reassuring. Entertainment was perfect for our children (4 and 6). Well stocked shop with very reasonable prices. Location meant visits to Perranporth, Newquay and St Ives were all within a reasonable distance. Would def visit again.

Family and friends holiday

We stayed for 9 nights with friends. The site is very busy. Our tent was close to main path and you can hear people going to the toilet all the time or back from pub or entertainment up to late hours of the night. I just feel more sorry for people opposite toilet as you can hear hand dryers going 24/7. The side is well looked after with beautiful view and great play area for kids. Good size swimming pool. Unfortunately, not everyone was driving slow and taking extra care about kids on scooters or bikes, so I stayed with mine mostly all the time. Shop on site is well stocked with not to bad prices, where you can buy fresh bread every morning. Nice walking distance to the lovely beach. I will recommend this campsite, but if you like peaceful and quiet evenings, you can be disappointed.

Brilliant park all round, plenty for kids to do. Only 10min drive to Fistral Beach. Will definitely be back.
