Beautiful location and plenty for the children to do. The only reason for a lower location rating is because we were pitched through a storm. Because of the location, we had to move on night 2 for our safety as we had 3 children (oldest is 6 years old and the youngest was 6 months) and there no pre-warning of how badly we were going to be exposed to the wind on our check-in.
Absolutely loved it, a great site

We really loved this campsite. Toilets and showers were spotless and they had great hot showers. Highly recommend this campsite - good size of pitches, nice and tidy and lovely views over the harbour. Marina café nearby was absolutely first class - best breakfast ever! There are great walks around - a 5 minute walk into Maryport, where there is a lovely chippy and an Indian restaurant which both had good food, We will definitely be back!!!

Lovely campsite with views of the marina. Facilities were spotless. Maryport is a Roman town with a lot of history. Nice promenade (Parkrun within walking distance). Only observation is there aren't many showers, fine when we stayed but might be an issue if site is full.
Lovely place.

Lovely place, Just one thing, I couldn't use the shower because I couldn't wheel over the gravel. I couldn't use the shower because I use a wheelchair and couldn't get over the gravel. I would have liked a concrete path. Also, I couldn't get to the footpath because the gravel stopped me from using my wheelchair.
Great campsite by the harbour

Really enjoyed our 5 nights on this campsite by Maryport harbour. Great location, cafe for breakfast on site, brilliant dog walking and lovely sunsets.

Quiet, it was Feb half term so still winter officially. Easy to find, spotless and sheltered right between the harbour and marina. Lovely welcoming cafe on site. Easy, 5 min walk into the town, with old fashioned with independent shops. The main attractions were shut on the days we were there, but still, the aquarium, brilliant adventure park and fab stoney beach with nobody on it were open, so great for the dog to chase gulls. Welcoming pubs, Chinese delivered to the site. We will be returning, maybe when we don't need 4 layers and gloves though. On the wet day, we caught the £2 bus to Whitehaven, a nice journey, good shops and plenty of frequent buses back.

An excellent place to visit. Lovely walks for us and dogs. Plenty of sites to tour. Very clean and friendly place, on site and out and about. The site was very clean at all times. Could do with a few more facilities for the size of site for high season, but was adequate for low season.
Peaceful and interesting location

A peaceful and interesting stay at the marina. Interesting as the location is on the side of a harbour. Lovely to explore and view the boats. Staff were helpful and friendly during the stay.

Campsite in a good location and a few minutes walk to the town centre. I think the site would benefit from more toilets & showers, also separate male/female instead of unisex facilities.

Lovely clean site with secure barrier entry and exit. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers. Nice little marina. Lovely marina coffee shop, with huge portions. Only downside was that it was a bit far for me to walk to the Main Street, as I have slight mobility issues but it wouldn't stop us returning. Lovely place with lovely, friendly staff.

Nice location beside the marina, with a convenient cafe on site. New facilities block with good showers and laundry. Electric hook up with water points on each stand.

Great little site, right next to the harbour. Loads of amenities close by, pubs, takeaways, shops, cafes etc. Also an aquarium with crazy golf. We would highly recommend & will definitely be going back. 5/5.

The caravan site was superb, clean and the location was superb with a magnificent view of the harbour. I love the place as it close to the beach and within walking distance to the town centre. It is a relaxing and peaceful area with lots of places to discover. The pod was clean and is a good value for money and well worth the price.

We have stayed in a few pods previously, but this one was fab. The fridge, microwave, kettle and cutlery were a great addition to the pod and we have paid the same money to stay in pods without these facilities, so was definitely value for money.

We had a 2 night stay in a pod. Could not fault anything about our stay. We will be booking again.

This is an excellent site with good facilities. We arrived on a windy day and due to the wind, it took a long time to put up the awning as the pegs we had wouldn't go into the ground as it was compacted gravel. It would be better with hard standing for the caravan (or camper van) and grass or softer ground for the awning. Still, it was a great site.
Disappointing

Pitches are very small, site needs bit of TLC, grass needing cut, lighting needs fixed. Parking rules for vans with awnings were not being followed. We had a car parked very close to our van during stay. Not enough toilet/shower facilities. On site café do very good breakfast.

This site is a gem for a short stay or stop-over. Pitches are good, facilities are great - shower/toilets great and the disabled shower/toilet fantastic. Maryport is nice but too hilly for me, the café on site is marvellous. Staff are great, but the chip shop near the site is awful and overpriced. Definitely head back that way again.
