Why you'll love it at Porthclais Farm

About the site

This family run campsite has fabulous sea views over St Brides Bay and offers an enormous 24 acres for those camping under canvas or 5 acres for anyone bringing a tourer. Pitches are all on grass and without electric. They're nice and flat and well drained with three fields welcoming dogs, and two kept totally pet free to suit campers who prefer to travel without dogs. When the numbers swell for the bank holiday, the site opens up an extra four acres so that everyone can have lots of breathing room.

If you see something that takes your fancy you can either launch a boat nearby to reach it, or book a place on board a trip to meet the wildlife of islands like Grassholm and Skomer.

Bus and train connections are good and can take you to St Davids for a look round its famous cathedral, or to Haverfordwest, Fishguard or Milford Haven.

The nearest place to get your feet in the sand is Caerfai Beach, but you can also easily reach Whitesands Bay, with its Blue Flag status.
