We loved our brief weekend here. We were in a small van and there was enough facilities to make it a comfortable stay- they were all as described in the site listing. All the toilets were very clean. Great access to the surrounding areas, with both Robin Hoods Bay and Boggle Hole being a 10 minute walk away and Whitby only a 25 minute drive. A very friendly atmosphere on site, we'll definitely be coming back in the new year!

Relatively flat field for a van! Great 15 minute but walk along the Cleveland path into Robin Hood's Bay for quaint pubs, great beer and fish & chips. The path has many steps down into the bay but is well walked, torch needed after dusk. Facilities are cute, the farmer has made a lot of effort with lighting and planting around the toilet and shower block. One shower with £1 honesty box, clean but I don't know in high season if it would be enough. Didn't use it because we were only there for one night so I can't review it properly. Loved the free range chickens, sheep and donkeys (in fields) but there are 3 unsightly old horse lorries which do spoil the view out to RHB.

Wonderful views but basic facilities. Weather was kind to us one day but rained overnight. Grass was long so damp, wet feet. Enjoyed walk into Robin Hood's Bay and it was great that we could just book a 1 night stay.
Lovely, clean campsite

Lovely, quiet campsite, with lots of animals for my children to see. We were there two nights and saw the toilets being cleaned several times. The facilities were very clean. Would definitely return and recommend!

We had a fantastic stay for what was meant to be two nights, but ended up being three, because we enjoyed it so much. The views were spectacular, it was quiet (we did go mid week, out of school holidays), and the facilities were clean and functional. For a remote location, the phone signal is excellent! Costal footpath leading to Robin Hood's Bay village to the north, and Boggle Hole beach to the south, both worth a visit. The campsite is also right next to national cycle route 1, giving a the chance of a pleasant, if hilly, ride to Scarborough or Staithes. The owner, Heidi, was friendly and had lots of information about the local area.

Expensive for a very basic site.
Overpriced considering facilities provided

We have been on a tour of UK with our camper and expected more from the site considering it was the most expensive. There are only 2 toilets and 1 shower for everyone onsite to share. No hot water for washing up. We arrived within the advertised check in times but were made to feel we had inconvenienced the owner and they were very vague about where we should park for the night, so we had to move pitch as it was too close to other campers. Did have a lovely view, but that is the only positive I can take from our visit.

Great site with stunning views! Facilities were always clean. Beautiful views on the 15 minute walk down to Robin Hoods Bay. Would definitely recommend for anyone happy with the basics.

Location is fabulous, otherwise it was rather disappointing. The field is rough and appeared to have been muck spread. Didn't meet the owner. Facilities clean but dated. You need to be very strong to move the old gate which gives access to the field. Paid £30/night, which we felt was excessive.

The most beautiful location and stay. It was utter perfection, overlooking Robin Hood's Bay and the coast. It took us around 15 mins to walk to Robin Hood's Bay, it felt like we had just popped to the shop. It was a very quiet campsite too, which was nice. The surroundings also included beautiful horses. The host was also very lovely and accommodating and even helped us when we left an item behind. 10/10.
Great basic site!

Great little site, close to RHB via a link to the Cleveland Way. Very friendly host who greeted upon arrival and sorted pitch location and everything. Facilities are basic but adequate for the one night I had. If I was pushed for a negative, the gas-powered shower was either boiling or ice-cold so I struggled to use it.

This was our second stay at this campsite based on our first experience. We loved the campsite the first time we booked back in 2023, it's a great location, close to The Bay and Whitby. We enjoyed the walk and looked forward to this stay. We had the wettest winter in the week leading up to our stay. When we arrived, the owner greeted us and warned us about where to pitch as the ground was so wet and in parts, so wet cars were getting stuck. We cut our holiday short due to the high winds and the relentless rain, this was no fun for kids as they could not do anything. The day before we had sun, but not enough to dry the ground, the grass was not cut, so it was long and wet, meaning each time we needed to go the toilet, you got wet just walking to the toilets. The footpath to the Bay was not accessible due to the mud and overgrown nettles and shrubs. The facilities are basic, two toilets and one shower, could be more for the size of the site, also not hot water for washing dishes. We did see a lot of people cut their stay short due to the weather. We are not sure if it's a place we would stay again.
Great basic site

Simple site with clean toilets and shower. Ducks, peacocks and chickens were wandering around and there were beautiful views from the clifftop.
