Hampton Bay Park is the perfect place to relax beside the coastline and get to know Kent's pretty seaside towns. This family run site is just a few minutes from Studd Hill Beach in Herne Bay and is ideal for anyone tasting the treats at the Whitstable Oyster Festival. There's an onsite clubhouse and concert room with live entertainment here too and both families and couples are welcomed, with space for families and also an adults only field.

About Hampton Bay Park
This is a well established park, family run and with live-in staff always available, should you need them. It's well connected for trips to Whitstable, Margate and more of Kent's gems, with the seaside town of Herne Bay just on your doorstep. You'll have the best of both worlds on Hampton Bay's grass pitches, with some areas welcoming families, and one field dedicated to adult only pitches for anyone looking for total tranquillity. Optional electric is available for all pitches and there's lots of open space to enjoy here, as well as a drink in the onsite club house, or live entertainment in the concert room. Pets are welcome, as long as they are kept on a lead.

Things to do on site and in the Herne Bay area
If you don't want to stray too far from your pitch, you're in luck here. There's an onsite clubhouse with a concert room hosting a range of live entertainment and you'll also find a seasonal food van onsite for fresh pizza and other hot food and snacks.
You're spoilt for choice with a number of fantastic beaches and coastal towns here, with local beaches less than a five minute drive away. Dip your toes into the waves and soak up the sun at Hampton, Studd Hill or Swalecliffe beaches.
For those wanting to travel further afield, an easy bus ride will take you to Whitstable for a stroll on the beach, an ice cream and some of the unmissable famous oysters.
There's a good train connection to Margate for the more classic English seaside experience. Be sure to make time for Dreamland Margate where there's a great selection of rides, rollercoasters, play areas and a cinema.
Less than half an hour in the car will take you to Canterbury to see its iconic cathedral, interactive Canterbury Tales experience and more.
