About Waterfront Country Park
Enjoy scenic walks, fishing, and the beauty of nature right on your doorstep at this family friendly touring park. Nestled along the banks of the River Trent, Chesterfield Canal and West Stockwith Marina, you will also have waterside pubs within a five minute stroll for unwinding with a cold pint after a day of exploring! Campervans, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome onsite, with the option of both grass and hardstanding pitches. Each pitch also includes an electric hook up and allows up to six guests. Dogs can join you for your stay too, with pet-friendly facilities including designated walking areas and ample space for pets to explore. For those who want to cook up their own tasty dinner, BBQs are permitted, just please ensure they are at least six inches from the ground.
Waterfront Country Park is open from 02/01 to 31/12.
Onsite facilities include toilets, hot showers, a disabled bathroom, a washing up area and a dog exercise area.
The Waterfront Inn is also next door, with the White Heart or Stockwith Marina Bar within a five minute walk too. A Co-op is a five minute drive away for picking up any essentials.

A lovely quiet site and dogs were welcome. The warden was helpful and friendly. Couldn't have asked for anything more. A good choice of walks in the area, whether it be through the village, along the canal or along the river. There were 2 dog friendly pubs within striking distance. I only tried one, due to the length of stay, but the food was lovely.

Things to do on site and in the Doncaster area
Being in a wonderful waterside location, the site is great for those wanting to enjoy riverside strolls and fishing.
For those travelling with little ones, a trip to Sundown Adventureland (20 minutes) is a must. The attraction is home to an Angry Bird Activity Park, Jolly Pirate Boat Ride, Robin Hood's Merry Adventure and much more!
If you love watching wildlife, take a trip to Potteric Carr Nature Reserve and Binocular Shop (30 minutes). The wetland reserve is home to grazing animals, bird hides and reedbeds.
