A trip to the Ramsgate Tunnels and going on one or all of the costumed walks in Ramsgate is always a fun day out. Broadstairs beach at Viking Bay is also beautiful and a jaunt in Broadstairs wouldn't be complete without a trip to Morellis ice cream parlour.

Margate again offers a sandy beach and the Turner Contemporary Gallery (free), Dreamland amusement park, plus the mysterious Shell Grotto.

The nearby beaches are beautiful, and with 15 sandy beaches and bays to choose from you are sure to find a favourite.
